30 Things So Irritating That I Gritted My Teeth Through This Whole List

Do you ever look at things and just get really, really angry? Because it happens to the best of us all the time. Some things are just too frustrating to look at too long.

If you look at these pictures for a long time, you may end up feeling the same way. You've been warned, now enter at your own risk.

When earbuds get tangled, especially with thread.

As much as I miss wired earbuds and the decreased risk of losing them in public, I don't miss the tangled messes that they make. Like, this? I'm pretty sure I've had nightmares about this kind of thing.

The thread in there too, like, ugh.

Why do people open boxes like this?

It's not like opening boxes is even that hard. You just have to tear at the tabs. Some boxes even have perforated edges to make it easier. But people still love doing things like this. It's complete madness.

I think my blood pressure just rose looking at this.

So close, yet so far away.

This is the number 1 reason to stay away from claw machines. They're basically designed to keep you from actually winning anything. And even if they do have really cute or cool prizes, it just isn't worth having to look at something like this.

The way these mailboxes are numbered.

It's like whoever designed this just wanted people to stand around looking all confused. Not a single number is in order; it just keeps jumping from low numbers to high ones. It's too confusing and I hate it. I feel like I'm seeing red (literally).

How people can make displays so uneven is beyond me.

Here's a tip: measuring tapes are your friends. They can help you avoid making design choices like this. Or, like, paying a bit more attention could go a long way, too. Seriously. There are so many ways this could've been avoided.

This bug that had the nerve to land in this cup of coffee.

I swear, if this ever happens to me I'd probably scream. How dare bugs decide that our coffees, teas, and cold drinks are theirs and just nosedive into them. They always end up drowning and making our drinks undrinkable. It just makes me so mad.

This fork that melted... somehow.

My question here is, how do you even melt a fork? They're supposed to be pretty sturdy, so this shouldn't happen. Unless you're sticking it in an ultra hot fire, that is. But still, this is just a weird, aggravating thing that shouldn't be happening.

Some people seem to love leaving the toilet paper roll on the holder when it's empty.

Again, this is something that doesn't take a lot of effort, and yet people still won't do it. It can't be that hard to take the old roll of the holder and put a new one on.

This pattern was *almost* right, but not quite.

If you've ever completed a project, only to find out that you've messed the pattern up along the way, you'll understand why this picture is so painful. Hopefully it can be changed easily because it's such a sad sight to see.

It's also really stressful.

It's crazy how easily you can lose just one sock in a pair.

Where do all of our socks go? Some other dimension? Behind the dryer? Are there such thing as sock fairies who steal them when we aren't looking? Because I think it's safe to say we all have a collection of socks missing their match. How annoying.

"This crooked sidewalk the city spent 2 months fixing."

If this is what the sidewalk looks like after being fixed, I'd hate to see what it looked like before. Like, this would bother me so much, especially if I lived in one of these houses. Can't have anything nice, can we.

When life gives you... wait, what?

We all know the saying about lemons and lemonade, but this is a new one. Who would've thought that you could also make lemonade out of limes?

In all seriousness, someone actually okayed this? And it got printed and shipped to stores? Not cool.

People actually cut pizza like this...

People who cut things like this are the worst. Whether it's a pizza pie or an apple pie, it's just such a bothersome thing to do. Circular foods can be cut evenly and easily. Come on, people!

Don't be like this person. Put some respect on that pizza.

This can't be serious. It can't be.

Meanwhile, this avocado is absolutely decimated. It's just disgusting. How do you even cut through the pit like that? Makes absolutely no sense.

There's such a clean, easy way to cut avocados, too. Like, literally all of this could've been avoided with a little bit of effort.

"Amazon shipped me an empty stick of deodorant..."

The worst thing about this isn't the fact that the deodorant is empty. It's the fact that this person now has to return it to Amazon. Amazon returns isn't the worst thing in the world to deal with, but for a single deodorant stick? A nightmare.

This is why you should read texts.

All of this could've been avoided if this person's mom had just read the first text a little more carefully. But now the surprise is ruined. I swear, if this had happened to me, I'd probably be salty about it for at least a couple of weeks.

Is it 9? Is it 8? Is it just painful?

There's a good chance this won't bug too many people. But it bugs me. Like, a lot. The fact that it's the 9 of diamonds, but there are clearly 8 diamonds? I can feel my blood pressure rising just looking at this.

Whoever loaded this dishwasher must be made of pure evil.

Seriously, who does this? Nothin is going to get cleaned. And all the dishes will just fly around in there. Now everything is going to have to be rearranged so that it can actually get cleaned the first time around.

"The position of my ice cream bars stick."

I'm sure this wasn't on purpose. Probably the ice cream melted a bit and refroze this way. But I'd still be really annoyed if I opened my ice cream bar only to find this. At this point, just dump it all into a bowl and eat it that way.

"When this part of your pen snaps off."

This is actually pretty infuriating. When this happens to a pen, you can't clip it to anything anymore. Plus, now you have to deal with a piece of pointy plastic sticking out of one spot, which you will definitely forget about and accidentally poke yourself with.

When you want to fill up on gas but all you get is this.

I can imagine plenty of people have driven up to this "pump," only to realize that there's nothing there. At all. Then they'd have to drive around and hope there's still a free pump somewhere. This is just way too annoying.

"It’s not helpful when braille is printed."

See, the thing about braille is that you kind of need to be able to feel it. Can't do that if it's just printed on. Talk about some false advertising, and a blatant disregard for any kind of accessibility for people with vision problems.

The size of the box compared to the size of the item inside...

Why Amazon always seems to do this is beyond me. Especially since they have those package envelopes that they could've easily used for something that small. Instead, they wasted a perfectly good box. You'd think they'd learn their lesson by now...

The way so many people have thrown their garbage on this roof.

I guess this is why lifts shouldn't be placed above roofs like this. That's just gross. And lazy. Finding a garbage and throwing your trash out normally isn't even that much effort. Instead, people had to go out of their way to make this area look so bad.

People who put groceries back in the wrong spot are the worst.

The fact that someone would really leave raw meat somewhere it's not supposed to be is just so gross! It doesn't take that much time or effort to put things back where they belong. Like, take a minute out of your day to be a decent person!

A paper straw that came in plastic wrapping.

The whole single use plastic straw ban that's been hitting nearly every city in the country as of late is there for a reason. That reason is to stop using single use plastic. And this straw had the right idea...

But they forgot to wrap it in something other than plastic. You know. The thing that they were trying to avoid.

...How? Why?

If there's one thing that really gets me gritting my teeth, it's people who don't put their carts away while shopping. Those carts can get moved around in the wind and end up hitting people's cars.

But people took it further and ended up doing this. The nerve. The disrespect.

Look at all the keys, and then look at the Y.

Why is the Y centered, but the rest of the letters are aligned in the corner? Who designed this? Because I'd like to have some words...

Again, this is such a simple design that still got messed up. How do things like this even happen!?

Dead pixels. The most annoying thing that can happen to a monitor.

Reddit | Lu

Have you ever purchased a brand new monitor or TV, only to find a single dead pixel in the middle of it? So annoying. You'll never be able to enjoy whatever your watching or playing with that thing in the way, always staring at you.

Whoever littered when there's a garbage bag *right* there...

Do people just like making everyone around them angry? Because it would've been so easy to throw that pizza box away, and whoever left it there still couldn't do it. Like, it was the bare minimum. This is why we can't have nice things.
