Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe Get Emotional Amid Her Divorce

Reese Witherspoon is currently navigating a divorce from her husband, Jim Toth after over a decade of marriage.

Reese and Jim jointly disclosed the news in March and implored the public to respect their decision and privacy as they go through this transition.

Reese and Jim announced they are getting a divorce five days before their 12th wedding anniversary. In a now-deleted post made on Instagram, they announced that they’d made the “difficult decision to divorce.”

The once-upon-a-time lovebirds were present to commemorate their son—Deacon Phillipe, album launch, titled A New Earth.

The album launch was held at MELROSE PLACE restaurant in Los Angeles, and it was a winding-up opportunity for Reese. 

Ryan posted some pictures on Instagram which revealed him having a fun time with his son and also making a speech.

Reese and her first husband, Ryan were married for seven years, and they have two children, Ava–23 years old, and Deacon—19 years old.

Reese and Ryan are known to be cordial with each other. They have adopted a co-parenting relationship since they went their different ways, and last week they made a rare public appearance together to support their son’s thriving career. 

While there are no pictures of Ryan and Reese together, the duo both took to Instagram to post pictures of themselves and their kids.

Ryan shared to his Instagram account, calling the bash an “awesome night” with “family & friends.”

Reese is probably hoping to maintain a similarly cordial relationship with her second husband, Jim Toth, whom she filed for divorce earlier this month.
