After being creative collaborators and friends for 30 years, comedy stars Amy Poehler and Tina Fey have revealed amazing news to their fans. The pair will be heading on their first-ever comedy road tour together — the Amy Poehler and Tina Fey: Restless Leg Tour. Here are the details.

Tina And Amy Are Going On Tour 

On Monday, Amy and Tina announced that they would be going on the road together for a comedy tour to celebrate a big milestone in their lovely relationship. The pair will be embarking on the tour in the Spring of 2023.

What Will The Tour Feature?

The Saturday Night Live alums' concert will see the duo touring four East Coast towns and aims to celebrate their three decades of friendship. It will also feature an evening full of iconic stories, jokes, and conversational entertainment.

When Will The Tour Begin?

Produced by Live Nation, the tour will kick start on April 28 in Washington DC, after which the comedy icons will visit Chicago, Boston, and Atlantic City on May 20, June 9, and June 10.

What About Ticket Sales?

The pre-sale for Amy Poehler and Tina Fey: Restless Leg Tour will begin on February 15 at 10 am, and the general tickets will be available for purchase on February 17 at 10 am.

When Did Tina And Amy Meet?

Amy and Tina have worked on various projects over the years. The entertainment icons first encountered each other when they were part of the Chicago improv scene in 1993.

Over two decades later, Tina opened up about her and Amy's first meeting in her memoir Yes Please. The actress told readers that her colleague was sharp, shy, and hilarious. According to Tina, they took improv classes together and sat at the back.

However, after entertaining fans for nearly a decade, Tina left the show in 2006, while Amy followed in 2008. Following their exit from SNL, Tina and Amy chose to begin individual shows.

Tina began her stint on the American sitcom 30 Rock, which ran for seven seasons from 2006 to 2013. The show was centered around the life of Liz Lemon, head writer of a sketch comedy show.

In the series, Liz, played by Tina, had to deal with eccentric stars and an arrogant boss while doing her job. Regardless, it was important for her to run the TV show successfully without losing her mind.

Amy Is The Lead In 'Parks And Recreation'

On the other hand, Amy went on to appear in Parks and Recreation. The sitcom began airing on April 9, 2009 and ran for over seven seasons and 125 episodes until February 24, 2015.

Over five years after the sitcom ended, a special reunion episode aired on April 30, 2020. Parks and Recreation told the story of how Leslie Knope, a mid-level bureaucrat, wishes to help a local nurse, Ann, convert an abandoned construction site into a community park.
