Honest Neighbor Apologizes, Leaves $20 For Neighbor After Dog Accidentally Broke Christmas Ornament

She then tells the neighbor where they can find her if it's not enough money (which was cut out of the clip for privacy), and then apologizes one more time.

This amazing act of kindness touched the hearts of thousands of Redditors. Having been uploaded earlier this week, the post has amassed over 70,000 upvotes.

Though she seemed to think the ornament was probably quite expensive, there's a good chance it cost much less than $20. Still, commenters were very impressed with the woman's forthright honesty and willingness to own up to a complete accident. We could all definitely learn a thing or two from her.

Sometimes, honesty is its own reward. Other times, you should get rewarded for being so honest. Many commenters believed that the woman in the video deserved to get her cash back, simply because she did something that very few of us would even think to do. Luckily, it seems that she did.

The user is not the original homeowner to which this happened. But, they updated commenters by letting everyone know that the original owner did track the woman down, gave back the money, and sent the woman and her dog a small thank-you gift. Talk about good karma!
