20 Pics Where The Confusing Perspective Threw Us For A Loop

Pictures can say a lot. Sometimes, though, what they're saying is that the photographer was either trying to mess with you, or ended up capturing a strange angle.

Of course, when the perspective is confusing, it makes us, uh, confused. When it comes to these pictures, it may take you a few seconds, but you'll get their perspectives eventually.

This car is losing its balance.

To be honest, even after staring at this picture for a whole, I can't not see it as a floating car. Even though you can kind of see the tire track leading to the parking spot on the left hand side. So strange.

Man, Halloween decorations sure are realistic these days.

Okay, so the spider is on the window. But the positioning makes it look like there's a large, very realistic spider just chilling on someone's side door. Thankfully, giant spiders don't exist (at least, not yet).

Nice leggings, but they don't really match the suit jacket.

This is another picture that threw me for a loop for a bit too long. It's just that the reflection on the outside of the counter is so clear, it makes it look like we're looking at the actual image.

This waterfall is made of beer!

Two things: one, obviously the beer bottle isn't pouring that water, and two, that waterfall isn't even that big. In fact, it probably couldn't even be considered a waterfall. But you know what? I'm going to keep calling it one.

"I dropped my broom in the lake. The way my light shines, it looks like a screenshot of a glitch in some game."

I can't believe that's water. It looks a lot more like a weird rug. Either way, the way the broom is floating on there looks a little creepy.

It's a whole family of cycling shadows.

These are some exceptionally clear shadows, which probably means that it's a sunny day. If it weren't for the fact that you can see some of the actual bikes along the bottom right of the picture, you could almost think these were paintings, or shadow people, or something.

This dog has legs for days (and for every direction).

It kind of takes a second to figure out which of this dog's legs goes in which direction. That one back leg really looks like a front leg, which is really throwing me off. But I think I got it.

I'll just take the bottle, thanks.

It may be a bottle/yoga mat combo, but it really does look like this store is selling one super long water bottle. But that would be absurd, right? Like, how would you even drink from a bottle that long?

A very snakelike garden hose.

Have you ever noticed how similar garden hoses look to snakes? Like, there's an actual snake in this picture, but the point still stands. It might make you think twice before watering your yard.

But who is hugging who?

Yeah, it takes a minute, but I'm sure you can figure this one out without me telling you.

To be honest, his head is way too big to belong to that body in any case.

This transport truck has some very precious cargo in the back.

That truck looks surprisingly realistic for something of its size. Of course, it really could be a regular-sized truck that's carrying a giant cat, but the chances of that being true aren't super high.

Floating spoon, anyone?

Some pots have holes on the side to hold your spoon. Either this pot has that spoon holder, or someone in this kitchen is practicing witchcraft in a very overt way. I'm, like, 80% it's the former, though.

"A large seagull carrying a really small child."

This perspective is so trippy. Not only does it make the seagull look big and the person that just happens to be standing near its beak small, but it makes that other person off to the right look like a giant. No one is safe.

Cabbage for brains.

This cabbage is so big, it completely engulfs the person holding it! It just looks like this incredibly large head of cabbage has human legs. It's, like, some kind of human/cabbage hybrid person. Could this be where human evolution is headed?

This cat's found a great spot to take a nap!

It almost looks like this cat is a giant just hanging out in a city. But from the way none of those miniature people seem to be paying it any mind, they probably don't even know it's there. Probably because they aren't real people.

Toy car, or giant turtle floatie?

From this angle, the toy car looks like a real car. Which would make that regular-sized turtle floatie be an extra large one. And the fence would also be a giant fence. Man, this whole thing is super confusing!

This bird has been through some things.

Well, actually, that's a cat whose right eye is obscured by shadow. But it really does look like a strange bird with an even stranger beak.

You thought you could fool us, cat, but you were wrong!

This headless dog looks more like a ghost.

From this angle, the dog's head basically doesn't exist. And because it's very white, it just looks like a headless ghost dog. Luckily, there's (probably) a head there, it's just obscured by the dog's body.

That man just won't get off her back!

Raise your hand if you also saw a tiny man riding on that woman's back for a split second. Okay, it wasn't just me.

That would be so weird, though. Especially since it looks like they don't know each other.

There are two heads in this picture.

If this dad needed any proof that the kid is his, this is it! Their heads are so similar, they blend into each other in this picture. Which is confusing, sure, but it's also strangely heartwarming.
