Nickelodeon Star Drake Bell Reported Missing And 'Endangered'

The Facebook post from the Daytona Beach Police Department stated that officers are actively searching for Drake Bell, using the legal first name of the former Drake & Josh alum, as "he is considered to be missing and endangered."

Law enforcement officials also disclosed that the 36-year-old Bell is believed to be driving in a 2022 gray BMW.

The authorities added that his last known area where he was seen is believed to be in the vicinity of Mainland High School, situated in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The last sighting of Bell was reported to be on Wednesday evening at approximately 9 p.m. local time.

Further details were not immediately available as attempts to reach the Daytona Beach Police Department for additional information were unsuccessful.

There has been no response from Bell's representatives regarding comments.

Bell's latest activity on social media was a tweet on April 3, where he shared an interview he participated in with podcaster Roberto Adrián Martínez Osuna.

Bell's Instagram account featured a video montage of his young son, posted on March 3.

According to a January report, it was revealed that Bell is currently undergoing a separation from his wife, Janet Von Schmeling, who is also the mother of their child.

In early December, Bell was allegedly seen huffing balloons in his car at a California vape shop parking lot with his young son seated in the back.

A source close to the situation told Page Six that Bell's wife has “had enough.”

Bell, 36, and Schmeling, 28, initiated their romance in 2013 and sealed their union in a small, private ceremony in 2018.

Alongside struggles in marriage and substance abuse, Bell has also come across legal dilemmas.

Back in 2012, Bell admitted guilt to two criminal charges of attempting to endanger a child and disseminating harmful material to minors, arising from an incident that took place four years earlier.

Bell was accused of communicating with a girl who attended his concert in Cleveland in 2017 and sending her "inappropriate messages" on social media.

Bell has had previous run-ins with the law. In 2015, he was pulled over for speeding and crossing over two lanes on December 21st, ultimately facing charges of driving under the influence.

Further complicating his legal situation, his ex-girlfriend Melissa Lingafelt accused him of verbal and physical abuse during their past relationship, a claim that Bell vehemently denied.

Lingafelt, who entered into a relationship with Bell at the age of 16, revealed that the verbal abuse didn't start until about a year after moving in with him.

“And when I say verbal abuse, imagine the worst type of verbal abuse you could ever imagine, and that was what I got,” the singer explained.

"It then turned to physical - hitting, throwing, everything," revealed Lingafelt.

“At the pinnacle of it, he drug [sic] me down the stairs of our house on Los Feliz. My face hit every step on the way down. I have photos of this,” the musician, who didn't provide any pictures, recounted.
