Jennifer Lopez has come under fire for her decision to launch an alcohol brand, Delola. Despite not being a drinker herself, the actress and singer announced the launch of her Italian coast-inspired beverage company on Wednesday.  However, many fans have expressed their disapproval, pointing out the irony of someone who does not drink promoting an alcoholic product.

She aimed to create a superior product with better ingredients and taste that she would personally consume with her family and friends. Hence, the birth of Delola.

Disappointment From Fans 

When J.Lo shared the video clip with her 240 million followers, disappointed fans quickly took to the comments section to express their disapproval of the singer’s decision. 

Out of Line With Her Image?

A comment left by one person read, "I'm quite disappointed. Given that you've spoken out against the negative impact of alcohol and have been open about not drinking, why not create a non-alcoholic brand? It seems out of line with your brand image, and I'm curious why you chose to promote an alcoholic product."
