Gisele Reflects On The 'Challenging' Time When Tom Brady Fathered a Child with His Ex-Girlfriend

A few days ago, Gisele sat down with Vanity Fair for an interview after a photo shoot for the magazine's April cover. During the chat, she broke her silence on her split with Tom.

Gisele also reflected on one of the most difficult times during her romance with the NFL star — when the latter fathered a child with his ex-girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan, shortly after they started dating.

The fashion model told the outlet that it was a challenging situation for all parties involved, but thankfully, the situation eventually came with positives.

According to the mother of two, raising Jack, Tom, and Bridget's now 15-year-old son with his parents helped fast-forward her own family plans.

Explaining further, Gisele said when she and Tom first met, she wanted to have a family so badly and was ready for it. Then, Jack came into their lives, which felt like a blessing.

The raving beauty said having Jack in her life awakened her desire to be a mom. "I've always dreamed of being a mom, but that happened a little faster than I thought because now I have this beautiful little angel that I get to care for and love," Gisele noted.

Gisele's interview with Vanity Fair was not the first time she spoke candidly about how she felt when she learned Bridget was pregnant with the footballer's child.

In her 2018 memoir, Lessons, Gisele reflected on that challenging time, revealing she felt like her world had been turned upside down and, at some point, considered leaving the relationship altogether.

However, Gisele remained in the relationship, and Tom and Bridget's son arrived in August 2007. Two years later, the model and her ex-husband exchanged marital vows.

Meanwhile, Gisele has shed more light on her co-parenting arrangement with Bridget. The model admitted her relationship with the 51-year-old actress was not always easy.

According to Gisele, it took more than a year after Jack's birth for the two women to eventually meet, but their difficult start now seems like water under the bridge.

Now, Gisele and Bridget have a great relationship, and the former considers the latter her co-parenting team player, which she made known during her chat with Vanity Fair. 

The model revealed that she had love to thank for her relationship with Jack and Bridget as it conquered all. Gisele said her life got richer when she learned that love was everything.

The years Gisele spent working with The Sum of all Fears actress have helped guide how she will co-parent with her ex-husband post-divorce. 

Gisele confessed to the outlet that she would always tell Bridget everything in life came with work, and one had to go through a roller coaster.

"You have moments where you get to the sticky points, and you've gotta overcome it," Gisele added. She then explained that while co-parenting with Bridget, the goal was to be the most helpful.

The model said she always put herself in the actress's shoes because, in the end, they were team players, and making Jack have the best life was the most important thing.

It seems Gisele is taking on a similar philosophy in the current chapter of her life, maintaining that she and Tom are striving to keep things friendly as exes.

Gisele and Tom share two beautiful children — son Benjamin Rein, born in 2009, and daughter Vivian Lake Brady, who arrived in 2012.
