Family comes first for Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo.
The 43-year-old Maroon 5 lead vocalist and his Namibian model wife, 34, are putting their marriage drama behind them to focus on their family, which just got a little bigger when their third child was born last month.
An insider told People that the power couple – who got married in 2014 and have two older daughters, 6-year-old Dusty Rose and 4-year-old Gio Grace – “were very focused on special family time before the new baby arrived.”
The source also shared, “After the drama in the fall, Adam has really tried to just focus on his family. He was very embarrassed and remorseful. She and Adam are doing great. They are excited about the new baby.”
According to the source, Dusty and Gio are “great with the baby” and taking their big sister duties seriously.
The couple announced in September 2022 that they were expecting their third child but have not shared further details about the baby’s birth.
Levine and Prinsloo hit a bump in their marriage last year when the Girls Like You hitmaker was accused of messaging other women in an inappropriate way. The scandal grabbed headlines but a source said at the time that they were working on their issues and had no plans of separating.
The singer addressed the allegations in an Instagram statement, saying, “I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner.”
He maintained that he did not have an affair but admitted he “crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life.”
Levine acknowledged that what he did “became inappropriate” but shared that he was working on making things right with his wife and family.
He concluded his statement by writing, “To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together.”
Prinsloo was reportedly shocked and upset at the revelations but believed that her husband’s inappropriate behavior did not cross into a full-blown affair.
