Catherine Zeta-Jones has rocked Hollywood since the late nineties and became famous with her signature black curly hair. However, the stunning 53-year-old Welshwoman surprised her 4.7 million Instagram followers with a picture of herself rocking a new hairdo!
The post was a subtle still from her upcoming movie, National Treasure: Edge of History, now streaming on Disney Plus. She had one burning question, "Do Blondes have more fun?" So we're in for a treat with the movie.
Jones wore a formal outfit in the picture while holding her phone to her ears, gesturing that she was on a call. The off-white and black combo of a long coat, pants, and t-shirt showed she meant business.
If the outfit (albeit half shown) didn't convey her message enough, the actress' stern look and sultry makeup sold it. The new hairdo has her fans split as many people can't adapt to seeing her in a different hairdo.
Fans have already adjusted to her sleek down-the-back black hairstyle in Tim Burton's Wednesday, released on Netflix last month. Within a few weeks, she dropped the shocking new hairstyle in a first-look teaser via Instagram.
It didn't matter that the hair was an obvious wig, as many fans complained about her being unrecognizable and morphing into a Kardashian (a reach). Others encouraged her adventurous switch saying she looked as gorgeous as ever.

A few days ago, Jones visited Seth Meyer's Late Night show in her signature dark curls wearing a chic playsuit with an embellished cape. The black velvet outfit highlighted her fair skin while its short hemline flaunted her toned, long legs.
She paired the jumpsuit with black stiletto pumps and avoided jewelry because she didn't need any - look at the embellished gold shoulder piece!
Jones spoke about her latest movie projects, including the Apple TV series coming on Wednesday, 14th December.
The Action-Adventure series has an average rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and it tells the story of Jess (Lisette Olivera), a resourceful dreamer on a quest to discover her family's history. Her adventure becomes more than she bargained for as she becomes entangled in a search for a lost Pan-American treasure.
Jones looked like a treasure at the Premiere, wearing a glittery brown jumpsuit with a long cape/tie accessory on the neckline. She wore her natural bouncy curls, too, proving that the blonde look was strictly for the screen. The upset fans can rest easy now.
