Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has been in the headlines a lot recently — and many of those headlines have nothing to do with football.

In a high-profile divorce, Brady split up with his wife, supermodel Gisele Bündchen, apparently because he was putting his football career ahead of his family.

Now that the divorce is official, Brady has offered a rare glimpse into his family life.

Brady Is the Best Football Player Ever

The 45-year-old Brady is not just the oldest player in the NFL or the oldest player to ever play regular snaps in the NFL, but he's also regarded as the sport's G.O.A.T.

Since making his debut with the New England Patriots all the way back in 2000, Brady has won an astounding seven Super Bowls (the most of any player), along with 3 league MVP awards and virtually every other major award that a quarterback might win.

It made perfect sense for Brady to step away from the game, and he announced his retirement in February of 2022. Just 40 days later, he reversed his decision and announced that he'd return for a 23rd season.

According to many sources, this was the source of considerable tension between Brady and his wife, Gisele Bündchen. They have two children together, born in 2009 and 2012.

In October, Bündchen was spotted in public without her wedding ring. Later that month, they confirmed their divorce.

Tom Brady Has a New Focus

While his actions over the past year or so would indicate that Brady is putting football ahead of his family, the QB says he's still very much committed to his kids.

He appeared on an episode of Sirius XM's Let's Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray to discuss his family life.

"I just want to be the best dad I could be," he said, before discussing how his parents raised him. "I just want to be that for my kids," he said.

It’s As Amicable as Possible

Both Brady and Bündchen have moved on with their lives, with Brady trying to turn his Bucs offense around, while Bündchen has started a new relationship with jiujitsu instructor Joaquim Valente.

Last month, shortly after the divorce became public, Brady said, "Obviously, the good news is it's a very amicable situation and I'm really focused on two things, taking care of my family and certainly my children, and secondly, doing the best job I can to win football games."
