If you want to be a Hollywood celebrity, prepare to grow some thick skin.
That's because online trolls love to shame celebs for petty things, such as the color of their hair, weight gain, or cellulite in their thighs.
While some celebs learn to roll the hate off their shoulders, others handle it head-on through epic clapbacks.
Here are 19 celebs who deserve major props for shutting down body shaming in one go.
When Yellowjackets premiered, the actress's big moment was overshadowed by body-shamers calling her fat and claiming to "care about her health."
The actress clapped back in the most epic way possible, tweeting, "Bitch you don't see me on my Peleton!" she wrote. "You don't see me running through the park with my child. Skinny does not always equal healthy."
As a woman who's not a size 0 and proud of it, Kelly has been the target of many body shamers over the years.
Like in 2015 when British TV personality Katie Hopkins fat-shamed the singer in now-deleted tweets.
The singer and talk show host handled this in the best way when she addressed it during an interview with Heat.
"She tweeted something nasty about me? That's because she doesn't know me. I'm awesome! It doesn't bother me."
Yes, even skinny stars are body-shamed. This happened to the singer in 2015 when a troll wrote in a now-deleted tweet, "Got asked if I'd prefer Ariel Winter or Ariana Grande lol. It would definitely be Ariel. Curves are sexy. Sticks aren't."
She responded on Twitter, writing, "We live in a day and age where people make it IMPOSSIBLE for women, men, anyone to embrace themselves exactly how they are. Diversity is sexy! Loving yourself is sexy! You know what is NOT sexy? Misogyny, objectifying, labeling, comparing, and body-shaming!"
Throughout the star's battle with lupus, the medication she takes has caused her weight to fluctuate over the years.
Sadly, some fans have been mean about any weight gain she's experienced, like when a fan body-shamed her in 2015.
Selena delivered a scathing reply, writing, "You're disgusting. I'm IN the business, and I could care less about what 'they' or you say I should look like. I don't need to do anything other than love myself, [and] take care of my work, fans, family, and friends."
If you think it's impossible for someone as gorgeous as JLo to be body-shamed, think again. At the start of her career, she had a manager pressure her to ditch her athletic dancer body and lose weight. She handled it perfectly by firing them.
Sadly, Hollywood men deal with body shamers, too. After the Superbad actor was ridiculed for a shirtless picture the Daily Mail posted, he fired back on Instagram.
"I don’t think I ever took my shirt off in a pool until I was in my mid-30s, even in front of family and friends," he began.
He ended his powerful clap back with a declaration of self-love, "I’m 37 and finally love and accept myself."
Later that same year, he kindly asked people to stop commenting on his body in an Instagram post. "I want to politely let you know it's not helpful and doesn't feel good," he wrote.
When the actress was heavily criticized for gaining weight during both of her pregnancies, she spoke out about her postpartum body in an interview with Redbook.
"I refused to worry about something I could not change, and I still refuse," she said.
Kelly Clarkson wasn't British TV personality Katie Hopkins' only target. She also said disparging things about Lily Allen's post-baby body in an interview with Heat.
This included how becoming a mother "largely involved gaining 2 stone and looking pretty hideous."
"Yes, after tragically [losing] a child so late into my pregnancy, I may have gained a few pounds. I am one of many that find comfort in food. The two pregnancies that followed were terrifying because of what had happened before and I was pretty much on bed rest for 20 months."
As a body-positive advocate, the model has a long history of shutting trolls down.
In 2016, after a troll called her thighs "cellulite city," she replied back, "I will not let others dictate what they think my body should look like for their own comfort, and neither should you."
The Modern Family actress has always been on the skinnier side as a result of her health condition, kidney dysplasia.
This caused trolls to go after the star in 2017, telling her to "go eat a burger" and other horrible things.
In a long message, she wrote that while she probably should eat a burger, that was hard to do when she was on bed rest for a month and lost a lot of muscle mass.
"My circumstances have put me in a place where I'm not in control of what my body looks like," she wrote.
As a plus-size woman, the "About Damn Time" singer has been the target of fat-shaming over the years.
One time, the singer was involved in an insult towards a family on TikTok. The troll wrote, "Your son really needs to go and at least exercise, he's gonna be the next Lizzo if he doesn't."
Lizzo shared the video and delivered an epic response at the same time. "Oh, you mean the next million-dollar dealin', cover of Vogue havin', 3x Grammy Award-winning icon, actress, activist, with a perfect ass?"
