Man Leaves 'Housewarming Gifts' For Ex And Guy She Cheated On With After Being Kicked Out

I think we can all agree that cheaters are pretty much the worst. So if there's one thing the hurt party deserves to get, it's sweet, sweet revenge!

One man got just that when he left behind some "housewarming" gifts for his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend after she kicked him out via email.

This one's a doozy. Muhahaha!

This man opened up about his tale of revenge on Reddit.

It all began when his ex told him to move out while she was on a work trip. The reason why? She wanted to move the boyfriend she was cheating on him with into the house. Such a sweetheart...

His plan involved noisemakers.

These are small, battery-powered ones that emit sounds at just the right volume. He wrote that "two people could be sitting in an average-sized room and while one can barely hear it, the other wouldn’t hear a thing."

In other words, perfect for driving someone crazy.

Naturally, he bought a box of 20 of them and hid them all over the house, her car, and even her boat.

Those suckers make noise at completely random intervals. This could be minutes, hours, or even a whole day. The sounds they make are the best part!

This includes children laughing, a dying breath, a whistle, and scratching noises.

We're getting shivers just thinking about it! Months go by and the ex-boyfriend moves on with his life. He doesn't know what came of his revenge until he talks to a mutual friend of theirs.

The friend let them now that those noisemakers basically ruined the cheater's life.

The boyfriend left after a few months because he couldn’t handle what was going on with their mental states. "Turns out for a while they had both heard things," the Redditor wrote.

Since only one person would hear the noise, it gave the illusion that they were going crazy.

Eventually, the boyfriend had become so paranoid that he was hearing voices that he left. The revenge was so sweet. "It was amazing, I hadn’t expected to hear anything about it. I rode that train for weeks," they wrote.

That wasn't even the half of it.

In addition to losing her new boyfriend, the ex-girlfriend moved out of the house, convinced it was haunted or full of bad juju. She told her parents to give it to her parents or sell it, but wouldn't tell them why.

Yep, the Redditor certainly got the last laugh in the end!

This was celebrated in the comments of his post. "Karmafication! Well done!" one wrote. "One of the best prorevenge stories I've read for a while," another added.

A third was convinced that his post belonged in the "nuclearrevenge" sub-reddit for being so savage.

People kept bowing down to him. "This is the stuff of legends. Well played, sir, well played!"

"This has to be the most apt situation to happen to a cheater, screw with someone's emotions and said person shows you what emotional warfare is," another added.

The Redditor's story inspired other users to share their own satisfying tales of revenge.

Many involved using the same noisemakers.

One military member placed some in his commanding officer's office. He ended up getting so frustrated by them that he tore his office apart in a fit of rage.

Another girl was at the receiving end of the noisemaker prank.

"Omg my dad hid one of these in our house under the couch for months," she wrote.

"One day I was studying and I heard the whispering noise and I freaked the [expletive] out. Ran out of the house and called dad thinking we were being robbed. Bastard laughed so hard."

Yikes!
