Dad Shuts Down Online Trolls Who Said His Baby 'Needs Botox'

Many people who have kids are very excited and look forward to sharing their joy on their social media pages. While many people love looking at adorable babies, there is always the chance that people can be trolls and rude online.

One dad recently learned this the hard way.

The X Factor contestant Jake Quickenden shared a photo of his newborn son on Instagram and immediately realized how cruel trolls can be online.

After sharing photos of his son online, trolls began spamming.

Many people began commenting on photos of his son saying that, "He looks like he needs botox" due to the "wrinkles" on his forehead.

Jake was not pleased with this.

As any parent would be, Jake was angry that the trolls were making fun of his newborn son. Truly, he was unsure why anyone would say this about a baby.

He then issued a response on his Instagram.

"So in the past week, this little man has been told he needs Botox, that he’s ugly as f**** and that he’s weird-looking, me myself [sic] have also been told stay off social media if you don’t want to be trolled, it’s so baffling to me that I should have to stay off social media if I don’t want my 4-week-old trolled," he wrote.

He said that trolling an innocent child is, "so wrong."

"I don’t mind people giving me s***, as sad as it is I’ve had to get used to being called 'irrelevant ' 'ugly ' 'attention-seeking' and the list goes on, but to troll [an] innocent child is so wrong and the people doing it seriously need to seek help," he continued.

He said he won't stay off social media just to appease people.

"Also why should I stay off social media if I don’t want him trolled the thought process of some people is shocking, maybe people just shouldn’t troll. I enjoy social media it’s full of lovely people who are supportive and I like sharing my ups and downs, I try and be real as possible, but unfortunately there is a dark side of social media and something needs doing about it," he concluded.

Many commented on the post in solidarity.

Many apologized to Jake for having to go through this. It definitely isn't great having to read all of this about something so happy and joyous.

Others said it's "vile" for adults to do this.

Many said this showcases that these trolls are just "unhappy" with themselves and trolling a newborn is proof.

Many also said that Jake's son is beautiful.

Despite all the negativity from trolls, many commented saying how "adorable" and "cute" Jake's son is and that everyone else can mind their own business.
