It Looks Like Prince George Revealed The Name Of Meghan And Harry's Son Months Ago

After waiting for what feels like a lifetime, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have finally had their baby, given us an adorable family photo, and revealed that his name is Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

Adorable, I know.

In the wee hours of Monday morning, Meghan gave birth to a healthy, seven-pound-three-ounce baby boy.

Fans were absolutely ecstatic to find out the sex of the newest royal addition — since Meghan and Harry managed to keep it a secret from us throughout the entire pregnancy.

Prince Harry happily announced the news that his son had arrived and that both he and Meghan were doing "incredibly well".

The look of joy on Harry's face was nearly as cute as the baby, himself.

Nearly.

"This little baby is absolutely to die for, so I'm just over the moon," he went on.

The royal family sent out a congratulatory tweet, revealing that Prince William and Kate Middleton are "delighted with the news".

Speaking of William and Kate...

Their son, Prince George, had apparently revealed Archie's name months ago without us even realizing it.

He was supposedly telling strangers that his real name was Archie — which sparked some confusion at the time.

In January of this year, while George was out with his grandmother, Carole Middleton, a dog-walker spotted them and struck up a conversation.

“I was asked by a police minder not to take a photo of the children, which I didn’t, but George started stroking my dog. Just to be friendly I engaged in a bit of small talk and I asked George what his name was, even though obviously I knew it," the dog-walker revealed.

"To my astonishment he said ‘I’m called Archie’ with a big smile on his face."

"I don’t know why he calls himself Archie but kids often play with their names and I think it’s lovely," they added.

At the time, fans figured that Archie was possibly a nickname given to George by his family, for reasons unknown.

But in hindsight, the name Archie could have been overheard by George while his family was discussing the name of Meghan and Harry's baby.

Once Meghan and Harry's son's name was revealed, fans quickly put two and two together.

It didn't take long for people to remember that Prince George had called himself Archie before.

The word spread quite quickly, reminding everyone of the time George randomly told a total stranger his name was Archie.

Fans are dying to know if this was coincidence or not — where did George hear this name before?

This fan joked that Prince George giving away the baby's name will probably unfold into some serious family drama for the next 30 years to come.

But surely, Meghan and Harry are far too distracted with joy over the arrival of their son to care about whether or not George playfully referred to himself as Archie six months ago.

Other fans are crediting Prince George for being the first one to break the news, unknowingly.

Was George calling himself Archie because he overheard the name of his baby cousin, or because he's been watching too much Riverdale?

Who are we to say?

Some fans feel stupid for missing such a major piece of the puzzle months ago.

Who knew that this subtle clue gave us all the answers we were looking for, all this time.

This person joked that although the whole thing could be a coincidence, maybe George is a "powerful seer".

They added that George being a psychic is just the plot twist we need since Game Of Thrones is about to come to an end.

Another fan stated the obvious — something a loss less cool than George being an all-knowing, powerful seer.

They suggested that it's quite likely George heard the name tossed around by Meghan and Harry and simply picked up on it — as many five-year-olds do.

How do you think Prince George came up with the name "Archie"?

Did he overhear it from his family? Did he come up with it on his own? Did he reveal Meghan and Harry's son's name months ago without us even realizing it?
