Use a small flowerpot to disperse salt.

Reddit | TheGuyThatAteYourDog

Slippery walkways are a reality of winter, so many of us use salt or de-icer to make them safer. I never thought of using a flower pot to help dispense the salt.

Since the pot has a small hole in the bottom, the salt can slowly trickle out.

Reddit | TheGuyThatAteYourDog

It's a lot easier than trying to evenly spread the salt out yourself. Why didn't I think of this sooner?
