Selena Gomez has asked her fans to cease sending death threats to Hailey Bieber following the model's appeal to the singer about online hate amidst their ongoing dispute.

In a statement on her Instagram Story on Friday, Gomez disapproved of hate and bullying, stressing that no one should endure such negativity.

Gomez concluded her statement by emphasizing her advocacy for kindness and urging an end to the ongoing feud with a heart emoji.

The feud between Gomez and Hailey Bieber has sparked intense backlash, resulting in Bieber receiving a barrage of hateful messages on social media.

Back in February, Hailey Bieber and Kylie Jenner faced accusations of mocking Selena Gomez's eyebrows, causing a major split on the internet.

Some people unfollowed Hailey and Kylie, while others made Selena Gomez the most followed woman on Instagram. Selena's first selfie since the drama began attracted over 23 million likes, while Hailey and Kylie's posts only averaged a few million likes.

Hailey was also accused of throwing shade at Taylor Swift in an old video, which prompted Selena to take a stand and defend her friend. She commented, "So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game," on the video.

The perception of Bieber and Gomez as frenemies stems from Hailey's marriage to Justin Bieber, Selena's former boyfriend, and has been fueled by rumors and speculation over the years.
