Kieran Culkin Confirms Arrival of Macaulay and Brenda Song's Second Baby

On March 20, 2023, Kieran spoke to Access Hollywood at his show's season four debut in New York City at Lincoln Center and confirmed his nephew's arrival.

Kieran told the outlet he and his family were yet to make the cross-country trek to visit Macaulay and their kids due to their tight schedules and the difficulty of traveling with his little children.

The Succession star explained that his brother's family lived in Los Angeles while he, his wife Jazz Charton, and three children, Kinsey Sioux and Wilder Wolf, lived in New York City.

Kieran explained to the outlet, "I have a one-year-old and a three-year-old, and as busy as I am, there is no getting on a plane and going. I haven’t met No. 2 yet, and they haven’t met [my] No. 2 yet."

Kieran's chat with Access Hollywood came after a US Weekly report that Macaulay and Brenda had welcomed their second child, son Carson before Christmas.

Meanwhile, while Kieran has confirmed the great news, neither the Home Alone actor nor the Suite Life of Zack and Cody alum have said anything about their second son's arrival.

Carson joins his older brother, Dakota, who was born in April 2021. Following his arrival, Macaulay and Brenda made a concerted effort to keep the news under wraps until they were ready to share it with the world.

At the time, the couple released a brief statement, admitting to being overjoyed with the arrival of their first son, named after Macaulay's late sister, Dakota, who died after a car accident.

Months after Dakota's birth, Brenda had an interview with The Cut, where she spoke candidly about her parenting dynamics with her talented fiancé.

The actress shared that she and Macaulay were hands-on parents, adding that they didn't have a nanny, though Brenda's mother had been living with them since Dakota's birth.

Brenda then advised her pregnant girlfriends to get help if possible, as their instincts would always tell them to do it all, but it wasn't physically possible.

In addition, Brenda stressed the importance of good communication with Macaulay. She explained that the first few months after having a child were difficult as couples didn't have the patience to be polite to each other.

However, being communicative when in need of help was essential as it was better to "just fill each other out" instead of having settled duties.

Before Brenda and Macaulay started dating, the My Girl star was romantically involved with Mila Kunis for eight years until they parted ways in 2010. 

On the other hand, the Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior actress was in a one-year relationship with Metro Station member Trace Cyrus in 2011. 

Then, in 2013, Brenda and Macaulay crossed paths for the first time, and four years later, they started dating after spending a lot of time on the set of Changeland. 

Brenda and Macaulay dated for a few years before they took their relationship to the next level in January 2022. The news of the pair's engagement broke when Brenda was spotted wearing a diamond ring in Beverly Hills, California.

Two months later, a source told Us Weekly that the Hollywood stars were looking forward to expanding their family, and Brenda couldn't be happier.

Overall, being a mother has changed Brenda. The actress is focused on being an amazing parent and putting her kids first when making career decisions.
