What Lindsay Lohan's Ex, Samantha Ronson, Is Saying About Her Baby News

Lohan joyfully declared on Tuesday that she and her husband, Bader Shammas, will soon be welcoming their first child into the world.

After Lindsay Lohan made her Instagram announcement, her former partner, DJ Samantha Ronson, responded to the news.

"I wish her all the best," Ronson told TMZ. "It's always great news when someone is expecting a baby."

Ronson and Lohan had an on-and-off relationship that spanned several years before calling it quits for good in 2009.

During an interview with Howard Stern in 2019, Lohan revealed that she and Ronson were now "friends," and that their romantic connection had felt more like a close friendship back then.

Lohan also spoke candidly about her experience of coming out as bisexual during the same interview with Stern.

“I was the first one who was like, that came out about, really, for my age,” the Mean Girls actress said about coming out.

The actress took to social media on Tuesday and shared a snapshot of a onesie featuring the words "coming soon."

Along with emojis of a heart, praying hands, a baby bottle, and a baby face, the caption on the post conveyed the couple's excitement and gratitude, reading, “We are blessed and excited!”

Fans and high-profile figures, including Paris Hilton, Kathy Hilton, and Nancy Meyers, have expressed their excitement in response to the announcement of the baby's arrival.

Soon after the news broke, Paris Hilton, who recently joined the mommy club herself, spoke to ET about the announcement.

"I'm so excited for her," Hilton said. "I know that she's always wanted to be a mom and she seems like she's in such an amazing place with her new man, so I'm just happy for her."

Hilton's recent experience of welcoming her first child with her husband Carter Reum gives her valuable perspective on what Lohan can expect as a new mother.

"Just take in all the special moments because they grow up so fast!" Hilton advised.

Lohan shared in July 2022 that she had exchanged vows with financier Bader Shammas, following their engagement announcement in November of the prior year.

Taking to Instagram, Lohan celebrated her husband Shammas who are now expecting a baby together. “I am the luckiest woman in the world,” she wrote.

Alongside a picture of them together, Lohan wrote in the caption:

“You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything.”

Lindsay Lohan is set to star in her second Netflix feature film, Irish Wish. Although it was initially scheduled for release in 2023, the film's release date is now expected to be in 2024.
