While Presley isn't as renowned as Kaia, he has featured in top brands' campaigns. However, Presley recalls his mom's reaction when he first had a tattoo at fifteen.

When Presley Gerber, then 15 years old, brought home his first tattoo, his mother was shocked, according to what Presley has revealed.

In an interview with Studio 22 Podcast, the 23-year-old male model, the brother of supermodel, Kaia Gerber, and the child of American businessman, Rande Gerber, opened up.

He Had The Grateful Tattoo On His Arm

The socialite admitted that as a teenager, he tried to cover up the tattoo on his forearm, which read "Grateful" in a large font. He did this by donning a bulky hoodie.

How His Parents Found Out He Was Hiding Something

However, his parents, Cindy and Rande, confronted him while spending time together at their house because they believed he was concealing something due to the oppressively hot weather at the time.

Presley spoke about his controversial face tattoo, as well as his recent struggles with depression and his mental health. He also discussed his experiences with mental illness.

What Was His First Tattoo?

Presley revealed: "That was my first tattoo" when the podcast hosts talked about gratitude and said, "Gratitude is one hell of a thing man."

He Sees Himself Being A Tattoo Artist

"There have been times in my life when I've still, you know, could still see myself as a tattoo artist one day," he continued.

Presley Enjoys Creating Art

Presley reportedly enjoys creating art and has always been interested in painting and drawing.  He was interested in it from a young age simply because the idea of transferring art to the skin was incredible.

He Had His First Tattoo At 15

Presley continued by saying that this tattoo was applied when he was only 15 and recounting his parents' reactions.

His Interesting Experience

'At 15 years old I had a really interesting experience and I literally went and got my first tattoo. He was in Canada, the guy in there didn't check my ID, bing bong came home with a tattoo.'

Grateful Tattoo

Afterward, one of the hosts of the podcast remarked, "I feel like you could come home even with a "Be grateful" on your arm, and it's still kind of hard for your parents to get mad at that."

Although Presley remembers the night to be more than he signed up for.

Presley recalled returning home and informing his parents of his plans to go out with his friends. He recalled telling his parents they would buy gifts at a store. However, his parents asked him to remove his hoodie while watching a movie after they arrived home.

Shocked At His Parent's Reaction

Presley didn't quite expect the reaction he got, as surprisingly, his mom didn't get angry when she looked at him at that precise moment. However, the terrifying thing was when she asked him to show his dad.

He Started Young

The supermodel Cindy Crawford's son, who is now 23, continued by saying that because he started getting tattoos so young, he stopped getting them altogether at 20 to 21.

About His Face Tattoo

And he discussed the contentious face tattoo on his right cheek that read "Misunderstood" and was first displayed to fans in February 2020.

"I got a face tattoo, then I got it removed,' he explained. 'That was really the last big, visible tattoo that I got. I ran out of space real quick."

Presley Wishes To Help People Dealing With Depression

The model continued by discussing his struggles with mental health. He recently worked on a campaign for the luxury fashion house, Celine. Though having dealt with depression, Presley is about helping others escape that space.

Presley also added in the podcast how he has dealt with depression; he said;

"I've had a lot of deep dives, a lot of vacations and a lot of time to look into myself and learn about myself with therapists."

His Plans For Mental Health Initiative

Presley said he has considered clothing brands centered around the topic to promote his plans to develop mental health initiatives.
