Jonah Hill and Lauren London did not actually touch lips during their romantic scene in the Netflix movie, You People. It was revealed that the actors made use of computer-generated imagery to pull off the scene.

The information was shared last week by Andrew Schulz during his podcast, The Brilliant Idiots. During the podcast episode on You People, the conversation came up with Nyla Symone and co-host Charlamagne Tha God. The comedian first joked that Hill and London did not make a great couple. He then continued that the kiss in the final scene was fake, "It's CGL." he said.

Schulz Recalled How The Kissing Scene Was Filmed

Schluz was present for the scene where the two actors get married and kiss. However, they did not kiss, and he thought the movie would cut away at the scene. The comedian continued that he was shocked to finally watch the movie and see their fake kiss. A representative for Netflix, Hill, and London did not respond to the news. 

London Shared Her Concern On The Relationship Dynamics Of The Characters

London had an interview with Harper's Bazaar last Wednesday. During the interview, the 38-year-old expressed her initial concerns about the relationship between the characters. She was concerned that the relationship between Ezra (Hill) and Amira (London) would not be believable.

Lauren And Hill Bonded On Similar Experiences

The Without Remorse actress said both characters were from different worlds, and their roles were centered around achieving a soulful connection. The actress, however, expressed her surprise that she and Hill got along well. London shared that even though she is black and her 39-year-old co-star is white, they somehow have some similar experiences.
