Reese Witherspoon thinks that Legally Blonde 3 needs a lot more Jennifer Coolidge. The actress is spilling some hot details about the upcoming third Legally Blonde movie, and we can't wait! When ET's Denny Directo interviewed Witherspoon at the Your Place or Mine premiere, she teased Jennifer Coolidge's part in the film.

Witherspoon played Elle Woods, a UCLA graduate who follows her ex-boyfriend Warner Huntington III (Matthew Davis) to Harvard Law School, in the sleeper hit Legally Blonde, which MGM released in 2001.
Elle Woods is one of Witherspoon's most famous roles. Trying to win Warner back from his new fiancée, Vivian Kensington (Selma Blair), Elle goes through a culture shock as she transitions from her sorority life to the rigorous coursework of law school.
Paulette Bonafonté (Coolidge), a nail technician whom Elle Woods meets along the way, quickly gains her friendship and trust. The novel Legally Blonde, written by Amanda Brown and the inspiration for the hit movie, was based on Brown's own real-life experiences.
Speaking to ET, the actor revealed;
"I'm beyond myself about Jennifer Coolidge, she deserves every one of those flowers she is receiving right now."
Witherspoon continued,
"And she's just one of those people who is so naturally gifted and funny and that you can just tell people love her, 'cause she gets up there and everybody's like, 'I love her,' but she's just done a lot of good work in our business for so long, that it's really nice to see her getting this incredible moment."
Of course, Witherspoon didn't spill all the tea on the much-anticipated movie! However, she did well by at least hinting to us on what to expect from the Emmy award-winning actress.
"There is no Legally Blonde 3 without Jennifer Coolidge,"
Witherspoon maintained.
However, as of October, the American Pie star admitted to ET that she hadn't received a call regarding the third movie, which stars Mindy Kaling.
"I know nothing, I mean I don't know if they wanted to surprise me or something, 'cause I hear about it a lot,"
Coolidge said of the highly anticipated third installment.
She added;
"I heard that Mindy has this amazing version of our next round, but I haven't seen it. I don't have the call yet."
But when asked if she was anticipating it, Coolidge responded, "Of course. Of course."
A whole generation of women has been motivated to pursue law as a career by the beloved movie. There have been arguments regarding the movie's status as a feminist film touchstone, but it has persisted in spreading its message of tenacity to viewers of all ages.
Although, even if the movie is further delayed, it won't lose any elements that made the first movie so special to its audience. This year marks Legally Blonde's 20th anniversary, and hopefully, a third installment will be released soon.
