Riley Keough is a Natural with Lisa Marie Presley's Twins, Says Uncle

Riley has been doing her best in taking care of her sisters, Finley and Harper after their mother died last month. Lisa Marie's step-brother Garcia recently comment on it with People. The 35-year-old said, "Riley has been so good with the twins."

Garcia is the only son of Priscilla who she shared with Marci Garibaldi. While Lisa Marie was the only child of Priscilla and Elvis Presley. The Lights Out singer shared her twins with ex-husband Michael Lockwood. Lisa Marie also shared Riley and her late son, Benjamin, with Danny Keough. Unfortunately, Benjamin died by suicide in 2020 at the age of 27. 

Riley, 33, penned a heartfelt letter to her mom at the public memorial service at Graceland. The letter was read by her husband, Ben Smith-Petersen on her behalf. In the letter, Riley remembered memories of her childhood with Lisa Marie. The singer died at the age of 54 after suffering cardiac arrest on January 12, 2023.

A week after her death, Riley broke her silence on it. The actress posted a throwback photo with Lisa Marie on her Instagram page. Riley and her two sisters, Finley and Harper are to inherit Graceland. 

Joel Weinshanker, a managing partner at Elvis Presley Enterprises, has weighed into the inheritance battle between Priscilla and Riley. He claimed Lisa Marie was 'very very certain' her legacy was left to Riley, not Priscilla.

Weinshanker shared this on what would have been Lisa Marie's 55th birthday on February 1. He revealed that there was never a question about Riley being the sole trustee of Graceland. He further noted he was speaking out because sometimes one has to take a stand. The comment came days after Priscilla filed court documents claiming she was pushed out of the inheritance. 

Priscilla and Barry Seigel were listed as trustees of Graceland before Lisa Marie replaced them in 2016. The singer changed the estate trustees to her daughter Riley and son Benjamin. However, the 77-year-old is questioning the authenticity of the amendment. She said her name was misspelled, Lisa Marie's signature seemed inconsistent and the date on the documents was suspicious.

A detailed glimpse into the singer-songwriter's financial situation came up in 2018 when she sued Barry Siegel. Lisa Marie claimed Siegel mismanaged her funds. She said it resulted in her $100 million trust reducing to $14,000 in cash by 2016. Lisa Marie claimed that Seigel put his financial interests ahead of hers.

She alleged that he bought a $9 million English home with the trust's money. Siegel later countered the lawsuit, stating that the singer's financial problems were due to her missteps. The litigation claimed Lisa Marie squandered her inheritance twice and blamed it on her spendthrift ways.
