Jennifer Garner's daughter is all grown up. The Yes Day actress' daughter Violet Affleck was unrecognizable at the State dinner hosted in the White House on Thursday. 

Affleck who turned 17 and her mother, 50 looked like twins as they rocked black dresses. Here is a look at the teenager who is fast becoming an outstanding lady like her mother.

Garner And Affleck At State Dinner 

Affleck stood tall and elegant beside Garner wearing a spaghetti-strap black dress that flowed freely from the waist to the hem. The dress had heart imprints and Affleck paired it with a black clutch and red heels.

Garner also looked elegant in the floor-length gown she chose for the event. The dress was designed with sequin accents on the sleeve and the actress paired it with a black clutch purse and heels.

The mother-daughter duo was two of 400 VIPs who attended the elaborate dinner. A photo from the event featured the pair as they held hands and smiled sweetly. The photo which was also posted on Instagram is a rare public image of the two.

 

What Is Known About The Young Affleck

Garner welcomed her daughter with her ex-husband Ben Affleck on December 1, 2005. While the celebrity parents did their best to keep their oldest child away from the spotlight, she made public appearances once in a while.

The young Affleck was spotted publicly with her mother and her father on separate occasions when she was seven years old. The teenager also made headlines in August 2018, after an interesting story her mother posted on social media.

Affleck made another rare public appearance when she appeared with Garner after the actress was honored with a star on the "Hollywood Walk of Fame."

Garner shared a close bond with her daughter even before her birth. The actress who also has a close relationship with her children Seraphina Rose, 13, and son Samuel Garner, 10, said in 2018, that she knew she was pregnant with her daughter Affleck before medical confirmation.

The actress shared the story about her motherly instincts while co-hosting The Ellen DeGeneres Show's annual Mother's Day. According to Garner, her at-home pregnancy test was "so faint," and a doctor also told her she was not pregnant. But one morning the actress woke up and had no doubt that he was about to become a mother.

Garner and her first daughter have been close since she was in the womb and their bond has only gotten stronger. The closeness between Garner and Affleck was evident at the State dinner hosted by President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden.

State Dinner At The White House

Per People, the Bidens welcomed French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, during the first State Dinner of the administration. The elaborate event was filled with countless famous faces including several government officials and policy staffers interested in strengthening relations with France.

During the dinner, President Biden offered a toast to "the enduring alliance between France and the United States." He referred to the alliance as a partnership that is marked by so many firsts.
