Wednesday was the most anticipated Netflix series that came just in time for Thanksgiving. Since its debut on the platform, the series has racked up a lot of views as it was reported that the series snagged the Stranger Things season 4 record of having the most viewed hours in a week with 341 hours following its November 27th debut on the platform. However, since the show's premiere, viewers have been raving about the incredible dance scene in episode four, which has, in turn, got the lead act, Jenna Ortega, along with her cast members to react.

Keep reading to find out more.

Why Jenna Felt Insecure

In a recently released behind-the-scenes clip, Netflix shows the cast discussing that now-iconic sequence. The clip featured Ortega, Luis Guzman, Emma Myer, Joy Sunday, Percy Hynes White, Hunter Doohan, and Fred Armisen, extorting the scene's virtues. It's a good reminder that actors are just like the rest of us. They can recognize a good dance routine when they see one. Myer referred to the scene as her favorite, and she and Doohan claimed that the cast couldn't stop gushing about it.

When Ortega made this revelation, it became clear that she had personally choreographed the scene, making her dancing even more impressive. Although Ortega acknowledged that she was "obviously not a dancer" and that this made her feel "insecure about the scene," the actress excelled in this crucial role.

The Synopsis Of 'Wednesday'

The daughter of The Addams Family spends most of the drama alone from her family, dealing with the difficulties of Nevermore boarding school and hunting a mysterious murderer who has claimed many victims in the adjacent woods. She concludes that a monster is to blame, but until the last episode, she doesn't know what kind of monster it might be or why it would want to kill people.

The eighth episode quickly ties many plot threads together. In this instance, Jenna Ortega's character, Wednesday Addams, battled a murderer, saved her family, and prevented the destruction of Nevermore. Even a hook for a second season is included in the Season 1 finale, should the show be revived.

Breaking Records

Eight episodes from the first season were made available on Netflix, allowing users to see them all at once. Since its premiere, the series has held the top spot in Netflix's Top 10 rankings, indicating that fans find it enjoyable. Wednesday has received positive reviews from audiences and critics alike; it presently has an 88% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Viewers prefer Wednesday much more right now. In light of the enthusiastic response from viewers and its ranking among the Top 10 on Netflix, season 2 has a promising future.

Is 'Wednesday' Season 2 Coming?

Netflix has not yet announced a renewal for Wednesday season 2. Although Wednesday isn't being adapted from a book or other work of media with a predetermined number of seasons, the renewal status of the series will mostly depend on how well-received the first season is when it debuts. While season 1 of the program had a satisfying conclusion, many unanswered issues remain for season 2.
