Kim Kardashian has often gone beyond to help and connect with individuals who do not have the support or the privilege to be with their families.
One such instance is when she chose to celebrate Thanksgiving with the young men incarcerated at Camp Kilpatrick.
With a social media post, Kim Kardashian expressed the admiration she holds for the young inmates who have worked their way up to the detention center based on good behavior and are trying to turn their lives around.
"These young people have worked their way up to this detention center in Malibu through their great behavior. Many are going to college classes and have made great changes in their lives. I loved taking a tour of the table and listening to their dreams and aspirations. I can't wait for them all to come true."
It was surprising to notice that Tristan Thompson was also present.
While it’s not surprising to see an NBA player at such events, considering he is Kim Kardashian’s sister, Khloe Kardashian’s ex-partner, it wasn’t quite expected.
The duo fell apart after it was found out that Tristan Thompson cheated on Khloe Kardashian, and she had given him another chance as well. That, of course, did not go down as expected.
Moreover, Thompson had proposed to Khloe Kardashian on two different occasions, she rejected it the first time but accepted it the second time. They were engaged for nine months before she broke it off after learning about his affairs with another woman.
Nevertheless, Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian have two children together. The NBA star has two other children with two different women.
Currently, Kim Kardashian is single. She separated from her ex-husband Kanye West several months ago, and following that she dated comedian Pete Davidson for nine months. This was one of the biggest headlines in the news for the entire time, especially when Kanye West would take shots at Pete Davidson for dating his ex-wife.
However, their demanding schedules did not allow them to invest time in the relationship, and they broke it off. Sources have revealed that both of them remain friends even after the breakup.
For now, Kim Kardashian is focusing on her brand SKIMS, and on the happiness and nurturing of her four children.
