Mariah Carey is the Queen of Christmas thanks to her hit single, All I Want for Christmas, and every year she performs the song at special Holiday events.

This year, her regular performances started at Macy's for the annual Thanksgiving parade, and the 52-year-old had her children, Moroccan and Monroe, join the dancers.

The colorful event had the Queen of Christmas standing in all her glory, wearing a red tulle dress with a red umbrella.

An Ethereal Sight In Red

The Christmas queen wore a Red dress with a draped bodice and a full mermaid skirt covering her legs. She wore a bejeweled silver crown on her dark blonde curly, long hair and carried a fancy red umbrella.

Her twin 11-year-old children, Roe and Roc, danced in the parade for the first time giving the singer a proud-mom moment.

Carey arrived at the parade in a float down 34th Street while her children dressed like the adult dancers - Roe as a fairy in a white tutu and Roc as a toy man in a suit. She shares the twins with her ex-husband, Nick Cannon.

Welcoming The Holidays

Carey had prepared for this moment since the beginning of November when she smashed some Halloween pumpkins in anticipation of Christmas.

The video went viral on all social media platforms, including Instagram, where it garnered over 2.7 million likes and 74.8 million views - over six times her followers, which are 11.3 million!

The singer started by riding a stationary bike in a black latex catsuit and thigh-high stiletto boots with a witch hat channeling her Halloween spirit before transitioning into a colorful snow-filled Christmas.

Christmas being her favorite time of the year makes perfect sense since the Award-winning singer's 1994 album, Merry Christmas, returns to the charts yearly, thus making her more money.

The singer came under fire from the internet for lip-syncing during the performance, but according to an old tweet from John Legend, it was inevitable.

The moving parade can't handle live performances, and we all heard Carey during her surprise BET Awards performance, so, we know she's still got it.

A Career Spanning Four Decades

W Magazine featured Carey in its Holiday issue for this year, where she opened up about her success. The 52-year-old is an inductee of the Songwriters Hall of Fame and Olympic-recognized five-octave range singer hence the backlash when she lip-synced at the parade.

Carey explained that being a Diva is part of her but sometimes just an act and shouldn't be the first thing people think of when they see her. After all, she has an impressive career.
