Last night, Ana de Armas sparkled at the Academy Governors Awards in a two-toned Louis Vuitton dress. She made Harper's Bazaar's best-dressed list amongst other publications, and deservedly so.

Since her press tour for her Netflix movie, Blonde, the Cuban actress hasn't removed her foot off the fashion pedal. De Armas proves her body is a great model for any design, from dazzling silver gowns to exotic silk dresses and two-toned numbers.

Embellished In LV

De Armas arrived in a two-toned Louis Vuitton dress with an encrusted white skirt and a backless cutout velvet top. Her top had a V-neckline formed from its diamond-shaped top with lace embroidery on the sharp inset.

The actress' top had thin straps holding it in place, forming a single line under her arms and across her back. She wore her black hair in a sleek low bun, thus keeping attention on her gown's details.

Minimalist Jewelry And Makeup

To further highlight the embellished dress, De Armas wore silver earrings, a single-layered necklace & matching bracelet, all from Louis Vuitton, and nude Estee Lauder makeup.

Her dress covered her legs, thus hiding her shoes from sight, but she carried a black clutch purse matching the top of her dress and skirt's waistband. The Blonde actress thanked her team via Instagram for being "incredible and supportive," saying they made the magic with her dress happen.

Things She Learned From Marilyn Monroe

De Armas received mixed reviews for her performance as Norma Jean, a.k.a. Marilyn Monroe in Blonde, but the role changed her life forever. After clarifying that she approved the director's choices and didn't feel any way towards the crew for the portrayal, De Armas shared her experience with several publications.

The actress opened up about the similarities between her life and Monroe's own. She said people focused on Monroe and ignored Norma Jean (the woman behind the fame.) She covered Variety's special Marilyn issue in September and AnOther Magazine's Autumn/Winter Issue.

De Armas spoke about valuing relationships and friendships over the fast celebrity life filled with temporary connections. She left Cuba to grow as an artist and became successful following her roles in Knives Out, Blonde, and No Time To Die.

The actress said she's open to taking on more challenging roles like those as she got tired of typecasting and stereotypes. She's undoubtedly proven herself, and we'll see her in more intense movies soon.
