In the early ‘00s, Jennifer Coolidge’s star power was shining bright.

She became a household name after she starred as Stiffler’s mom in the American Pie movies. She showed off her comedic chops in A Cinderella Story opposite Hilary Duff and Legally Blonde opposite Reese Witherspoon.

And then… well, there wasn’t much else from the actress.

Until most recently when she blew audiences away with her Emmy-winning performance in 'The White Lotus.'

If anyone deserves an epic comeback, it’s Jennifer. She’s spent the last decade relatively out of the spotlight, struggling to find her next big role.

She's done small work in roles like '2 Broke Girls' and voiceovers for 'Ricky & Morty' and 'Bobbleheads: The Movie'.

She was even in a bad spot, health-wise, by the time The White Lotus creator, Mike White, texted her about a role.

“I’d been gorging and self-destructing at home for months, eating pizza all day,” she told 'The Guardian.'

“There was no way I wanted to be on film unless they shot me from the neck up. I’m sort of vain, so there was no [expletive] way.”

She had to be talked into the role of Tanya McQuoid in the HBO series.

“Mike texted me at 2am one night and it just said: ‘Are you afraid?’ It was like he could read my mind and sensed that I was trying to get out of it,” she said.

“Then a great friend of mine told me to own my mess and just do it.”

She continued: “I can’t tell you how close I came to ruining this whole thing for myself. It’s such a great lesson in life. I’d never have forgiven myself.”

She stated that she would’ve sat down and watched the show and said, “What the hell was I thinking? I’m an insane person.”

“A lot of us actors are so insecure and scared of failure, we blow our own chances,” she claimed.

Taking on the role was a career game-changer.

Coolidge has been praised for stealing the show as a supporting character.

“Coolidge’s work here is special, and deserves to be remembered come awards season, and to beget more and even richer work,” wrote Julie Miller forVariety.

"She has shown that, as a supporting player, she can do just that — support the ideas of a project with richly developed work that courts extremity while always serving the story.”

Jennifer has been basking in the praise during her epic comeback.

This includes her most-recent Emmy win for outstanding supporting actress in a limited series or movie.

The dark comedy, 'The White Lotus,' was one of the most-nominated television shows in 2022 — with 20 nominations.

"I just want to say to my fellow nominees, just to be in your company is incredible," the actress said during her speech.

As usual, she cracked some jokes: "I just want to say I took a lavender bath tonight right before the show, and it made me swell up inside my dress, and I'm having a hard time speaking."

When the wrap-up music started playing, Jennifer begged for more time. "Wait, hold on, this is a once-in-a-lifetime thing, and I'm full," she said.

She continued to read her list of thank you and then started dancing when "Hit the Road Jack" played in the background.

You take all the time that you need, Jennifer! Now that she's officially back, we're not going anywhere.
