20 Ways People Have Taken Pickles Way (Way Way) Too Far

I find that, when it comes to pickles, you either love them or you hate them. But I think even the most avid pickle lover would be a bit skeptical about pickle-flavored things.

Needless to say, whoever came up with these pickle ideas may have gone a little too far. It just goes to show that just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Using pickles as sandwich "bread."

For people who love sandwiches (and pickles), but hate how fattening bread can be, there's a solution. You could just have a sandwich with pickles standing in for the bun.

I'm... not really sure how to feel about that.

That time Pringles released limited time deep fried pickle chips.

Yup, Pringles really did this. I'm not entirely sure who asked for it, but they seem surprisingly... tame compared to some other pickle-themed things. Still, it feels a little too much like playing god to me.

That trend where people are adding pickle bars to their weddings.

I shouldn't be surprised that people love pickles this much, and yet I am. Definitely one of the weirder (albeit pretty harmless) trends out there.

Hopefully the guests who go to these things aren't anti-pickle or anything.

Pouring ranch seasoning on pickles.

No, not ranch dressing. People are using packets of dry ranch to season their pickles. Apparently, it's not bad. But I don't know if I'd ever be brave enough to try it out.

Chocolate covered pickles, which are a thing, apparently.

Look, I love chocolate. And I love pickles. But I can't imagine a world where this combination actually works. And yet, chocolate covered pickles are a thing people actually sell. We truly live in the weirdest timeline.

It's a Snickers, it's a pickle. It's... the Snickle!

What's stranger, a pickle covered in chocolate, or chocolate covered in pickles? There's only one right answer here: they're both equally weird.

This DIY snack is definitely for those of us out there with zero fear.

Hot pickle salsa, for when you *really* can't go without pickles.

I'm not going to lie, this one seems like it could actually be really good. Either that, or it would be incredibly salty. Or, maybe the salt is what makes it good?

I don't even know anymore.

Or, you could try the Pickle de Gallo instead.

This honestly just looks like someone took the idea of relish and ramped it up by a thousand. I'm sure there's plenty of people out there who would love something like this, but I don't think I can get over the pickle aftertaste that must occur.

Love beer and pickle juice? Well, sour pickle beer is a real thing that exists.

This is probably for those who love to crack open a cold one, but may not love the taste of regular beer. Apparently, it tastes like straight pickle juice, so this one's for the pickle juice-lovers, I guess.

Beer not your thing? This seltzer's got you covered.

What started out as a joke ended up becoming a real product. It just goes to show that you should always be careful what you wish for, especially when on the internet.

Thought there was enough pickle-flavored alcohol out there? Welp, there's more!

Yes, as incredulous as it sounds, pickle-flavored vodka is a thing that exists. It would go wonderfully (probably) with plenty of different pickle-flavored mixed drinks. Or, at least that's what I'd imagine.

Speaking of pickle mixed drinks...

I'm not sure if spicy pickle margaritas are quite as trendy as they once were, but man, was that ever a wild time. Of all the things you could do with pickle juice...

Alternatively, you could just buy pickle juice. By the gallon.

I'm sure at this point, it shouldn't come to a surprise that people out there will chug pickle juice like it's water. And I'm sure they're getting their pickle juice by the gallon off Amazon, because that's a real thing you can do.

A gallon's too much? Just get it by the can.

It's like pickle beer, but without the beer part. It's like buying a jar of pickles, but without the pickle part. It's... a thing that exists, I guess. Not much more I can say.

You've heard of a pickle sandwich, now get ready for a pickle hotdog!

Pickles can be great on sandwiches and burgers and stuff. But replacing buns -- hotdogs or otherwise -- with pickles seems like it's taking the concept way too far. It's like having a hotdog with nothing but relish on it.

Pickles and cotton candy. Two things I never thought I'd see together.

I want to say that there's probably a market for this particular combination. I want to so badly. But there's no way to look at this without thinking it's totally cursed.

Grandpa Joe's wasn't done with pickle cotton candy...

Yep, they also came up with the most cursed thing on the planet: pickle Oreos. This combination should be offensive, but it's honestly so absurd that I can't help but think it's the funniest thing ever.

Remember that time Twitter learned about cranberry and pickle pie?

That's one Twitter debate I'd rather forget, thank you very much. I'm sure this is one of those things that's actually kind of good, but I can't get over the sheer amount of pickles on top of the pie.

Pickle Ice Pops. We're truly in the doomed timeline.

They may look like they'd taste like lime, but they are in fact, dill pickle flavored. I... don't know how much more of this pickle frenzy I can take.

Dilly dogs: The corndog with a little surprise inside.

You know what, I think I'd prefer a corndog with a pickle inside it to a hot dog with a pickle as the bun. I still probably wouldn't want either of them, though.
