Here we are at Meereen. These dark halls were perfect for the mysterious ancient city that held many pyramids.

The rock walls, the broken halls, everything looked like it was from a bygone time.

The outer walls of this city give the city of Meereen an ancient look once again.

Kind of like the classical walls of Jerusalem, these are old and beautiful structures.

This city in Croatia, meant to represent Braavos, has a perfect ancient Spain vibe.

The streets were broken, yet had some piece of bravado to them.

This city in Croatia is perfect for the walls of King's Landing.

Its red-tinted stone separators are an amazing backdrop to all the bloody, violent battles that happen during this city's time.

The inner and outer walls of King's Landing are represented by this awesome castle.

Its high walls and its excellent Croatian castle feeling are the epitome of perfect for King's Landing.

These gardens, where we saw the Tyrells, mostly, are represented by this awesome floral display.

It would be beautiful, if it weren't for all the terrible planning we knew happened in these very gardens.

This place, that represented the outer walls of Meereen, is perfect for what they were going for.

Need a place that looks like it could hold a pyramid? Well, then, this is the place for you.

Dragonstone. The place of Targaryens and Baratheons alike.

Lord knows why they chose a waterfall to represent a place so based in fire. Maybe it was juxtaposition?

This, folks, is the city of King's Landing. I feel, of course, like it's perfect for something that holds "The Red Keep."

Its red rooftops really fit into the motif.

What? They used two different places for the place the Tyrells did evil planning?

Well, I guess if you've got all sorts of HBO money behind you, you can shoot wherever you darn well please.

This, folks, is where Jaime Lannister confronted Ned Stark in front of Littlefinger's brothel.

One has to wonder if there's an actual brothel in there. Uh...I'm asking for a friend.

One has to wonder (once again) if there's a tower filled with evil warlocks in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Croatia has warlocks, right? Sorry, clearly I'm not the most worldly person ever.

So they went from Croatia to Ireland to represent one fictional city?

They couldn't find a place in Croatia that had that kind of seaside landing? I don't get television at all.

If you recall, at the end of season 5, episode 10, Jaqn H'gar makes Arya blind.

Opening up the sixth season, Arya is seen in the streets of Braavos, begging on these same steps.

In season, 5 episode 6, Tyrion and Jorah are unfortunately captured by slavers.

Tyrion uses his quick wit and cheeky humor to deter the slavers from killing them.

A scene during season 1, episode 1 takes place in Malta at the Azure Window.

This familiar scene occurs during Daenerys and Drogo's interesting wedding celebration.

This is the exact pond where Sansa and Loras Tyrell discuss possible future wedding plans in season 3, episode 6.

And, by future wedding plans, I mean zero wedding plans.

Peñíscola, Spain is transformed into Meereen for Game of Thrones.

It really comes in handy when your natural set is already from the Medieval Period!

Even though a little photo-editing was used in the Game of Thrones episode, you can see that those trees are exactly the same, and same with the nature growing out of the wall.

This scenic spot in Spain was the perfect dramatic setting for this scene between Daenerys, Missandei, and Jon Snow.

This is The Basement of Diocletian’s Palace, where Dany's dragons are kept.
