Halloween is only a month away — and while that may seem like a long way off for some, for others it means that halloween is practically upon us!

With this in mind, it can't hurt to start thinking about ways that you can spice up your halloween game this year. Although, you'll soon see that this design idea can also be made to fit any season, not just halloween!

From cheap plastic skeletons to large-scale decorative efforts, making your garden look the part for halloween, or any season, can be a much-loved challenge for some.

So if you're looking for a new way to spice up your garden, chicken wire could be just what you need...

Yes, chicken wire has many more uses than just for chicken-related ends. Chicken wire ghosts appear to be a hot idea as well since Katy's above tweet has garnered over half a million likes!

People were quick to share their own advice for those attempting this wonderfully eerie aesthetic!

Twitter user, and chicken-wire-ghost enthusiast, SilentSiren91 explained that the best practice for making your own is as follows:

"Tip for doing this: Have a model wear a nice thick or leather coat so the wire doesn't poke them, and mould the wire around them for shape. Don't try to do it freehand unless you're suuuuuper talented with lots of practice. (This is how we make statue bases for conventions)."

The chicken wire scenes can be as eerily sparse or populated as you like!

I personally quite like the aesthetic of the lone ghost lurking creepily in your garden! However, some of the larger-scale displays that people had to share were also fantastic.

Chicken wire statues have also been used for more poignant artistic purposes...

With endless possibilities at your fingertips, you can spice up your garden however you would like with some chicken wire sculptures...and they don't have to be purely halloween-based!

Let us know what you make of these sculptures and if you think you could make one yourself in the comments below!
