From Grumpy Cat to other endearing four-legged icons, there's just something about expressive-looking animals that makes the world gush.
'Giggles The Angry Cat' is our latest obsession, and while he may certainly look like he hates you, he actually loves you and is most likely eager to give you lots of furry cuddles.
As [The Dodo(https://www.thedodo.com/daily-dodo/angriest-looking-stray-cat-is-actually-a-total-sweetie) reported, a woman living in Akron, Ohio noticed a stray cat that looked like he did not want to be bothered based on the angry look permanently etched on his face.
However, after meeting the cat a few times, she realized that this intense looking cat truly just wanted a loving family and home.
The Good Samaritan called Riggi Rescue to pick him up and help him find a safe home, as well as any necessary medical attention.
As more people met this cat, they inquired as to whether he's a nice cat. The rescue repeatedly reassured everyone that while he may look a little vengeful, he's as loving as any other cat regardless of his face.
Ironically, they wound up naming him "Giggles."
Only a month after being placed in a foster home, Giggles was given an opportunity to join a new family. It was love at first sight when he met his new parents.
With that said, Riggi Rescue wasn't ready to completely say goodbye, so they made Giggles their official "spokeskitty," and we can't think of anything cuter.
Not every happily ever after looks happy, but you just know that it's all coming together in a beautiful way. Giggles proves that you can't judge a book by its cover and that there's more than what meets the eye.
