Celebrities are practically known for spending their riches on useless things. But when it comes to helping animals, not a penny goes to waste.

While this list often includes cats and dogs, some celebs have a soft spot for, shall we say, different kinds of animals.

This includes everything from bearded dragons to pot-bellied pigs. Here are 10+ celebrities who have strange pets.

This caused the hotel heiress to make a trip to the hospital.

“Baby luv bit her. It’s a superficial bite on her left arm,” her publicist, Elliot Mintz, said back in 2006.

"Even as a tiny kitten, he was exceptionally affectionate, cuddly, and loving and I returned to the pet store where I first saw him a week after I first met him."

She continued:

"His siblings had been adopted but he remained. I took him home and we’ve been together ever since. He is a Peterbald breed and, as others of his breed are, he is more human than most humans I know. He’s communicative, exceedingly affectionate, always [feeling] cold, but always loving."
