Mel Brooks And His Son Max Teamed Up For Hilarious Video About Social Distancing

Leave it to one of the most iconic comedians of all time (and his son, of course) to find the funniest way to encourage everyone to practice social distancing!

Mel Brooks, along with his son, author Max Brooks, took to Twitter to share a sweet, funny, and informative video about the best way to handle COVID-19.

The video starts with Max standing next to a big glass window.

"Hi, I'm Max Brooks. I'm 47 years old," Max says, and as Mel walks up to him from behind the glass, he adds, "and this is my dad, Mel Brooks. Hi dad! He's 93."

"If I get the coronavirus, I'll probably be okay," Max explains.

"But if I give it to him," Max says, gesturing to his dad, who starts laughing. "He could give it to Carl Reiner, who could give it to Dick Van Dyke..."

"And before I know it, I've wiped out a whole generation of comedic legends."

"When it comes to coronavirus, I have to think about who I can infect. And so should you," Max says, before adding, "#Don'tBeASpreader."

Max and his dad then go over the easiest ways to practice social distancing.

Followed, of course, by Mel knocking on the glass, and telling Max to "Go home!" which is pretty good advice.
