It seems like the Chrisley family is taking turns going to jail as Kyle Chrisley is the third person to get arrested after his father, Todd Chrisley, and stepmother, Julie Chrisley, were both sentenced to prison earlier this year. Read more about Kyle's case below.

Kyle Chrisley, son of the reality TV star Todd Chrisley, lands in legal troubles after being arrested on Tuesday in Tennessee.

Arrested For Assault

The news was confirmed by a representative of the Rutherford County Sheriff's Department, who revealed, "Kyle Chrisley was arrested for aggravated assault by Smyrna, Tennessee Police Department."

Transferred To A Detention Center

The representative further stated, "He was booked into Rutherford County Adult Detention Center and later released on a $3,000 bond."

Further details about the case weren't revealed immediately, however, it was confirmed that Kyle would be appearing in court on March 30.

Possessing A Weapon

Kyle, who works at the Penske Truck Rental in Smyrna, was said to have a weapon during a physical altercation with one of his co-workers.

A report received by UNILAD revealed, "Further allegations were made that Chrisley brandished a 'fixed blade' during the incident."

Kyle's wife, Ashleigh Chrisley provided clarification on the matter and said, "Kyle has a knife that he carries for work, but he did not pull it out or brandish it nor did he use it on the person. He will plead not guilty."

A Combined Prison Term

News of Kyle's arrest comes just two months after his father and stepmother were sentenced to a combined prison term of 19 years after their $30 million fraud scheme became public.

Apart from being a real estate tycoon, Todd Chrisley was also a reality star of the series, Chrisley Knows Best. The first nine seasons of the series showcased the wealthy lifestyles of the Chrisley family.

However, following a thorough investigation of the family's records by the FBI it became known that the lifestyle displayed by the family on the show was mostly fake.

Before their crimes were revealed, Todd and Julie used to produce false financial statements to make it seem like they were way wealthier than they actually were.

A Guilty Pairing 

After a three-week trial that took place last year, Todd and Julie were declared guilty and charged with imprisonment for tax evasion and bank fraud.

A Trip To Prison

Todd received a prison sentence of 12 years in Florida while Julie got sentenced to 7 years in a minimum security prison in Kentucky.

Talking about her parent's verdicts, Savannah Chrisley, daughter of Todd and Julie, revealed, "I will never forget when they stood up to read the verdicts and it was like guilty, guilty, guilty, like over and over and over again."

She further stated, "And I just saw the looks on my parent's faces and just everything. They were just in tears. We were not expecting that. We were like, 'There's no way.'"

Kyle reacted to this news by posting a Bible verse on his Instagram: " Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

Struggling With Addiction

Kyle's appearances during the 9 seasons of the show were minimal due to his constant battles with addiction and substance abuse.

His daughter Chloe, on the other hand, was a regular part of the show since she was being raised by her grandparents, Todd and Julia Chrisley. However, Kyle reconciled with his daughter before his father's arrest.
