In the days since Sunday night's Oscar's ceremony, Ashley Graham has received a lot of praise for her calm demeanor during a rather awkward red carpet encounter.

The model, 35, gained a lot of attention after an interview she held for ABC with Hugh Grant on the red carpet, ahead of the main event.

Not Long After The Event, Ashley Broke Her Silence.

On Monday, TMZ caught up with Ashley, who stated that she didn't let Hugh's awkward interview get her down.

The Debacle Clearly Didn't Ruin Her Night.

She told the interviewer that she had fun. "My feet hurt, but I had fun," she said in the exchange, which was caught on video.

As For The Moment With Hugh Itself, She Had A Few Words To Say.

"You know what, my mama told me to kill people with kindness, so there you go," she said, not having much else to say about what had transpired the night before.

Despite the overwhelming response online, Hugh hasn't publicly addressed the controversy at the time of writing.

While Ashley tried to keep the energy going, it seemed as though Hugh didn't really want to be interviewed. His responses were short, and viewers felt he was being dismissive.

At the end of the interview, Hugh seemingly rolled his eyes as he turned to leave the area, which many took to mean he was annoyed with the questions.

The Interview Went Viral Online For All The Wrong Reasons.

It wasn't long before the interview made its way to social media sites like Twitter, where fans who watched the event blasted Grant for his lack of decorum.

Twitter Users Heavily Criticized The Actor.

Users were pretty upset with the way Hugh completely brushed off all of the questions that Ashley asked of him.

Many Pointed Out That He Didn't Have To Accept The Interview.

Not every celeb goes for red carpet interviews. Users were quick to point out that Hugh could've politely declined the interview if he truly didn't want to answer any of the questions.

It Seemed Pretty Clear That Hugh Didn't Want To Be There.

Plenty of social media users believed that Hugh was so disengaged because he probably didn't want to be at the event in the first place. At the very least, it was clear to many that he didn't want to answer the questions.

But Not Everyone Sided Against Hugh.

In fact, some even applauded Hugh for his responses. They felt that he was simply tired of the kinds of questions often asked during red carpet interviews.

For Many, The Awkward Exchange Highlighted The Difference Between Americans and Brits.

Users discussed how, while many of those who were criticizing Hugh were American, those who sided with him were more than likely British.

Others Noticed That There Was A Misunderstanding During The Interview.

At one point, Hugh seemingly mentions the novel, Vanity Fair. Ashley, meanwhile, believes he's talking about the magazine of the same name, which hosted the Oscars' afterparty.

Alongside a number of celebrities, Hugh was presenting an award. Alongside Andie MacDowell, he presented the award for Best Production Design.

The Presentation Was Also Somewhat Of A Reunion.

"We're actually here to do two things, Hugh joked during their segment. The first is to raise awareness about the vital importance of using a good moisturizer. Andie's been wearing one every day for the last 29 years. I've never used one in my life."

In addition to conducting red carpet interviews and attending the Oscars, Ashley made her way to the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty.

She Made A Quick Outfit Change, Too.

Like many other stars, Ashley changed into a new outfit for the afterparty. She showed it off on her Instagram page.
