Britney Spears Sells Calabasas Home for Nearly $2 Million Less Than She Paid

The 41-year-old pop singer made 2022 headlines for deciding to sell her L.A. mansion, also for buying a new one as she settled into married life with her new husband Sam Asghari. But she's already put it on the market!

Britney initially listed her marbled property for $12 million, but it looks like she's wound up with a loss. Reports claim that the A-Lister hitmaker has accepted an offer for $10.2 million. Britney purchased the property for $11.8 million.

The buyer for this pad isn't a celebrity, so it seems! They are said to be a Texas-based personal injury lawyer.

Britney may be no friend of ex-husband Kevin Federline, but her new home is just around the corner from him. Together, Spears and Federline share sons Sean, 17, and Jayden, 16.

Britney's new home boasts a sweet six bedrooms and offers almost 12,000 square feet. It sits on 1.6 acres of land, offering plenty of space. As to the six bedrooms, fans do know that Britney and personal trainer Sam are trying for a baby following Britney's tragic 2022 miscarriage.

Britney and Sam were heartbroken last May as they revealed they had sadly lost the baby they were so hoping to welcome.

In a joint statement, the couple told fans:

“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy,” adding, “This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along. However, we were overly excited to share the good news.”

Britney met Sam in 2016 while he was featuring in her Slumber Party music video. The two have been an item since and haven't looked back!

Continuing in her miscarriage announcement, Britney wrote: “We are grateful for what we have in the process of expanding our beautiful family. Thank you for your support.”

Britney has yet to announce anything on the baby front, although fans are hoping!

Britney has made 2023 headlines for a brief Instagram delete, but she's back! The Toxic singer is followed by over 41 million on the platform.

This year has equally brought drama as fans worry for Britney's mental health, this largely due to erratic Instagram posts and long rambling captions.

Just this week, Britney posted a small gallery of snaps while modeling a gorgeous green minidress, one she even called her "favorite" one!

Shortly before her green dress share, Britney posted in a gorgeous gold one, even saying that she was keen to go salsa dancing! "Anyway … this is me last night in my new gold dress !!! Think I need to salsa in this dress," the singer told fans.

Britney did not release new music during her conservatorship, but she was quick to do so once the 13 years of it ended.

Britney quickly topped charts as she and Sir Elton John released Hold Me Closer, Tiny Dancer.

There may just be a tell-all book in the pipeline, with fans hoping that Spears will dish all on her conservatorship.
