Britney Spears: Friends And Family Stage Intervention Out of Fear For Her Life

According to TMZ, Spears' loved ones became worried about her "erratic and volatile" behavior as a result of medications that "hyper her up." It was also shared that the drugs caused her to "fly off the handle."

The Toxic crooner was also said to have not been taking her mood stabilization medications. In the wake of these developments, her inner circle reportedly rented a house in Los Angeles for "several months" without her knowledge. This was to be channeled toward an intervention.

The mom-of-two had allegedly become more chaotic and combative before her close pals thought to intervene. The plan was set to take place in Spears' home where she lived with her husband, Sam Asghari. The 28-year-old, Spears manager, doctors, and an interventionist were supposed to be waiting while she would set to receive medical treatment and psychological evaluation for two months.

It appears as though Spears is now aware of what is going on and this has forced her family and friends to scrap the intervention plan. An insider told People that she has been "acting increasingly erratically and those around her have grown more concerned." The source stated that she was usually up all night while sleeping through the day. She was also said to show "a lot of anger."

According to an insider, her husband has been supportive, while her concerned loved ones keep urging her to seek treatment. The source noted that it would not be easy getting her to opt for treatment because of her increasingly combative behavior.

In the past weeks, concerned fans have also shown their worries. Some of her fans contacted the authorities to check on her well-being. This happened after she deactivated her Instagram account.

Following the visit by authorities, the star reinstated her Instagram account letting fans know she was not having a breakdown. The singer noted that she had never felt better, and she could take down her Instagram account as she wished. She would later call out the authorities on social media. She also stated that they never entered her house, but things "went a little too far."

Earlier In January, she was spotted outdoors with her spouse and she made headlines for the series of events that took place. The couple was out in Los Angeles as they made their way to Joey in the Woodland Hills area. However, things went out of hand when Spears got angry about some of the restaurant's patrons who whipped out their phones to take unwarranted snaps.

The pop icon could be seen covering her face with the menu, before going off and lashing out at those around. She would later leave with her bodyguard while returning briefly to pay the bills.
