"Can we all get along?" was the plea Rodney King made in the wake of his savage beat down at the hands of LA police officers. It's now 30 years later, and we're still fighting the same fight.

In the wake of Tyre Nichols' recent murder at the hands of Memphis police officers, the family of George Floyd has declared their intention to attend the funeral. Many are hopeful that this time might finally be the last time that the country collectively mourns in such a way.

The Family Of Tyre Nichols Won't Have To Endure Their Grief Alone.

It has now been confirmed that the family and loved ones of George Floyd plan to attend Tyre's funeral in person, in order to meet the Nichols family face-to-face.

Tyre Nichols Was Killed By Five Memphis Police Officers During A Routine Traffic Stop.

Tyre was pulled over for alleged reckless driving, although there is no evidence whatsoever to support the claim made by the Memphis police officers.

Tyre Was Dragged From His Car, Tazed, Pepper-Sprayed, And Brutally Beaten Within Inches Of His Life.

When paramedics eventually arrived on the scene, the officers and EMTs declined to give Tyre any medical attention. He was later taken to hospital and died as a result of his injuries.

Renowned Civil Rights Attorney, Ben Crump, Will Be Representing The Nichols Family.

Ben Crump is the same attorney who represented the Floyd family, and it was he who revealed to TMZ that several family members of the Floyd family will attend Tyre's ceremony.

The Nichols and Floyd families are united by grief in a way few have ever come to realize. Attorney Crump confirmed that several members of Floyd's immediate family have been reaching out to the Nichols family in order to express their condolences.

Crump Also Confirmed That The Nichols Family Have Been Invited To Join In The Floyd Family's Ongoing Fight With Congress.

The family has been working tirelessly in order to get the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act passed. According to Crump, everyone is on board.

During a conversation with Tyre's mother and stepfather, the POTUS revealed how he is attempting to get Congress to redirect its focus back to federal police reform legislature.
