More shocking details about the late Lisa Marie Presley's final months are dropping. The star and only child of icon Elvis Presley was said to have been on strict weight loss medication and taking opioids in significant quantities months before her tragic death.

A source close to the family confirmed to the news outlets that the 54-year-old had plastic surgery and took weight loss meds two months before attending the Golden Globes, after which she died two days later.
The source alleged that due to the efficacy of the weight loss med, Presley lost a whopping 40-50 pounds in six weeks. The weight loss was quite obvious, especially on the Golden Globes red carpet.
The source also added that the late Lisa Marie relapsed back to taking opioids again before her death. Presley had been vocal about her addiction to opioids and struggled to get off them.
When she attended the Golden Globes red carpet in support of the cast and crew of Elvis, a biopic of her father played by Austin Butler, fans noticed how frail she looked and the difficulties she had walking and standing on the carpet.
Another video showed the star holding on to Butler as she walked down the stairs at the event.
During her interview on the carpet, the star gushed about Butler's performance in the project and expressed her excitement after she saw it.
"It was mind-blowing. Truly mind-blowing, I really didn’t know what to do with myself after I saw it. I had to take, like, five days to process it because it was so incredible and so spot on and just so authentic that, yeah, I can't even describe what it meant."
Inside the venue, Butler shouted out to the Presley family for their support throughout the biopic's making as she stepped on stage to receive his Golden Globe award.
The 54-year-old passed on two days after the event following a cardiac arrest that landed her in the emergency room. Reports stated that first responders performed CPR twice before finally rushing her to the hospital.
Presley was then laid to rest at an elaborate memorial held at Graceland. She was buried alongside her father, her grandparents, her late son, and Elvis Presley's twin brother, who died at birth.
Following her burial, her mother, Priscilla Presley, has alleged inconsistencies and irregularities, especially over her will, which has now removed her as a successor and co-trustee and replaced her with Riley Keough.
