In a statement released by Lisa's mother, Priscilla described her daughter as the most passionate, strong, and loving woman she ever knew. Priscilla also thanked the public for their love, further asking for privacy while dealing with the loss.

Following Nicolas' ex-wife's death, the actor spoke about how he felt. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the American actor disclosed that the news of Lisa's death was devastating.

According to Nicolas, the musical icon had the greatest laugh of anyone he had ever met. Nicolas proceeded to serenade the deceased with kind words. He said Lisa lit up every room she entered and her death left him heartbroken.

Although his ex-partner's demise was devastating, Nicolas remained thankful for one thing. The actor took solace in believing that the entertainment guru had reunited with her late son, Benjamin Keough.

Lisa and Nicolas were among the most admired and respected duo during their time as a couple. But before their union came to be, the singer already knew what marriage tasted like, as she experienced two failed marriages.

Lisa first walked down the aisle with Danny Keough in 1988. The pair enjoyed marital bliss for the next couple of years, but it was only a matter of time before their union crumbled. After being married for six years, Lisa and Danny's marriage ended in 1994.

That same year, Lisa tied the knot with the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Sadly, their union was short-lived and ended after two years in 1996. Their union didn't yield any children.

Five years after her second failed marriage, Lisa and Nicolas began their romance. The pair dated for a short time before exchanging wedding vows in August 2002.

Unfortunately, Lisa and Nicolas' marriage was one of the shortest in history, ending only four months later. The former lovebirds eventually finalized their divorce in 2004.
