Look — life is hard right now. It's no secret that 2022 has been draining emotionally and financially. Sometimes, we all need a pep talk, and who better to give one than a bunch of elementary school kids? Yep, that's right, there's an automated hotline you can call to hear a variety of uplifting messages.

And yes, it's just as adorable as you're imagining.

It can be hard to look to our peers or partners for pep talks when everyone is feeling as run down and burnt out as you are.

In times like these, I'm so grateful to share that there's a public art project that's sole mission is to brighten your day.

When you dial the hotline (707) 873-7862, you’ll be greeted by a message from a student: "Hi, Welcome to Peptoc! A public art project by Westside School!"

You'll then be asked to select a number based on how you're feeling and what kind of pep talk you need.

For example, you can press 2 if you need words of encouragement, or 6 if you're looking for a confidence boost.

Basically, you can't go wrong here and any option will be sure to make your day A WHOLE LOT BETTER.

As per westsideartprogram.com, the idea was co-created by art teachers Jessica Martin and Asherah Weiss, alongside the enthusiastic students of California's West Side Elementary.

"The project consists of student-made motivational flyers, and a hotline with pre-recorded pep talks and life advice from kids aged 5-12," the website reads.

Since the messages are pre-recorded, you can return to your favorites time and time again and the entire call is automated so you don't have to actually talk to anyone.

This is great for people with social anxiety or those of us who just aren't in a chatty mood.

One of the options is just hearing the kids laugh which honestly might be my favorite out of all of them.

Social media has been filled with people sharing the number and giving the service five-star reviews for obvious reasons.

The project, which first launched back in March, has gotten international attention.

"Within two days of going live, the project went viral. Within ten days, the hotline was receiving 60,000 calls an hour,  with more than 4 million calls in three weeks," their website reads.

"The Office" actress Jenna Fischer was one of the first celebs to share the number and encourage her nearly 4 million followers to call.

"Bringing this to the feed based on your feedback of loving/needing this as much as I did," she captioned the sweet video.

With so much criticism around the next generation, I think it's safe to say they're in very good hands.

What an amazing idea and a great way to spread joy when people need it most.

Once again, the number is 707-998-8410.

Give them a call!
