Season 12 of the Great British Bake Off just premiered and it’s off to, well, an interesting start.

During the first Showstopper challenge of the season, Syabria, a 32-year-old cardiovascular research associate, accidentally made a phallic-shaped cake. It was a far cry from the coconut tree that she intended to make.

The NSFW creation led to plenty of hilarious fan reactions online!

Over 12 seasons, there have been many flubs on the 'Great British Bake Off.’

With temperatures rising in the kitchen and immense pressure from a ticking clock, mistakes are bound to happen.

In Season Six, Episode One, there was Dorret Conway’s failure at creating a black forest gateau during the Showstopper challenge.

Things were looking impeccably designed until Dorrett tried to remove the gateau from the pan.

But since her mousse hadn’t set, the cake quickly deflated into a liquid mess. When the clock is close to running out, mistakes like these are hard to fix.

The baked Alaska disaster of Season Five has been called one of the worst fails throughout the series.

The challenge proved that ice cream and a hot tent do not mix. Tragedy stuck when contestant Diana Beard removed contest Iain’s Baked Alaska out of the freezer to make room for hers.

The dish was only out of the freezer for a few minutes before it completely melted.

Instead of finding a way to work with the puddled mess, Iain threw the dish into the garbage. Since he had nothing to serve the judges, he was subsequently sent home.

Some fails on the show inflicted pain on the contestants and not the desserts.

In 2012, contestant John Whaite cut himself on a food processor blade. A casualty like this was bound to happen sometime as bakers are dealing with sharp tools and equipment.

As you can see from the picture, this was one of the bloodiest baking fails.

No one was even eliminated that week because the situation was so bad. Plus, it's hard to imagine the judges eating his bloody cake after that.

The next fail will have you giggling!

During the Season 12 premiere, contestants had to create culinary versions of home for the Showstopper challenge. For this, contestant Syabira decided to make a baked house inspired by her childhood home in Malaysia.

She even added a coconut tree, recalling to the cameras how she used to climb the tree as a kid.

But things didn't pan out how she wanted as the coconut tree creation looked, well, phallic-shaped. "It’s not what it looks like," she said as host, Matt Lucas, came to her station.

Matt didn't look convinced, especially as Syabira wrapped her hands around it, and neither were the viewers.

"Syabira making an Anne Summers house," one Twitter user joked, making a cheeky reference to Anne Summers being a lingerie and sex toys company.

"I’m sure it is a “coconut tree”, love," another wrote.

The hilarious tweets continued, with users comparing the contestant's "coconut tree" to a "feathery dildo." The only thing people could agree on was that it was "definitely questionable." Ain't that the truth!

Even the GBBO Twitter page joked about the tree online.

"A work in progress coconut tree like no other," they wrote alongside a clip of Syabira shaping it.

Although she shined during the competition, it was Janusz who earned Star Baker!
