I can imagine taking over the throne from the longest reigning and highly beloved monarch would be stressful. I can imagine having the eyes of a nation upon you after the passing of your mother would be stressful. And, I imagine that using faulty fountain pens in front of many people and many cameras would be very stressful.

Now, fans are calling for King Charles III to switch to using ballpoint pens and saving us all the trouble of watching him have another outburst.

As you may recall, King Charles had a bit of an issue last weekend while signing the Accession Proclamation.

The King appeared frustrated to have both a pen box and the inkpot on the small desk which also had to accommodate several large documents — don't you just hate when that happens?

Once the documents were placed, Charles once again signaled to an aide to remove the pen box from the desk to leave him enough room.

Videos of the King gesturing to a Royal aide to clear the desk and remove the pen box went viral.

Now, if you can believe it, the King has gotten angry over a fountain pen-related debacle once again.

After receiving a warm welcome at the Hillsborough Castle in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Tuesday, Charles went to sign another document with another fountain pen.

The result? Chaos.

The Monarch struggled with the pen before handing it off to his wife, Queen Consort Camilla, and saying: "Oh god I hate this."

"Oh look, it's going everywhere — hang on," Camilla says as her husband walks off.

"I can't bear this bloody thing!" Charles says, clearly frustrated.

"What they do every stinking time!" he adds as he is escorted into a different room.

Now, fans on Twitter are calling for the King to make the switch over to ballpoint pens to avoid any further frustrations.

"Someone needs to get King Charles a ballpoint pen for Christmas," tweeted one fan.

"Latest news: King Charles III calls for ban on use of fountain pens for official documents, insisting that ballpoint pens be used instead," joked another.

My favorite tweet? "Charles’s historic reign as king is just a 37 minute montage of him screaming about a Bic ballpoint."
