Every now and then, your heroes actually live up to their images. Sure, we've all heard horror stories of people meeting celebs and having it all go poorly. But sometimes, everything just seems to line up exactly as you'd hope.

And Henry Winkler sure seems like the sort of celeb you'd hope to run into in a random spot. All things considered, he seems like a pretty wholesome guy.

Most people of a certain generation remember Henry Winkler as The Fonz, Arthur Fonzarelli.

The 76-year-old Happy Days star has had a wonderful second act to his career, finding a new, younger audience thanks to roles in Arrested Development and Barry. He's also fairly active on Twitter, often interacting with fans and giving some behind-the-scenes views of things he's working on and celebs he's brushing elbows with.

His Twitter feed is also a pretty pure, wholesome place in general.

He is in many ways a beacon of positivity, talking up his co-stars and performances he's enjoyed, and pretty much every time he posts a picture of himself, he's sporting a big, broad smile.

But 'Barry' is what brought Winkler to the Emmy Awards red carpet.

Winkler received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his performance as acting teacher Gene Cousineau. That particular award went to Ted Lasso's Brett Goldstein.

Winkler's finest, purest moment of the night came before the awards were even presented, however.

Out on that red carpet, Winkler stopped by the press gang from Access Hollywood, and they were prepared for him. They even had a photo from the time he hosted the Emmy Awards in 1979 alongside Cheryl Ladd, and he shared a few memories of that hosting gig.

They also had some "thirst tweets" written about Winkler to share with him.

Now, Henry Winkler might once have played the man synonymous with "cool," and he might have connected with a younger audience on TV and through social media, but he sure doesn't know what at "DILF" is.

Or, at least, he didn't know before that run-in with Access Hollywood.

As one host informed him, it was at least a compliment.

Still confused, Winkler had to ask, "is that like an elf?"

Sorry, Henry, but no, it's not like an elf at all.

Which is what one host literally spelled out for Winkler.

Remember American Pie? Stifler's mom, the original MILF? Yeah, it's just like that, except for dads instead of moms.

And apparently, that's how at least one person on Twitter would describe a legendary septuagenarian comic actor.

Needless to say, the news shocked Winkler's wonderfully wholesome heart.

But, just as quickly, Winkler decided he'd hang onto that particular tweet — all in good fun, of course. And it's certainly a compliment, if nothing else!

Yep, it looks like Arthur Fonzarelli can still get it.

And whether the fans agreed or not, they still expressed their adoration for Winkler's reaction.

"In this house we love and appreciate wholesome king Henry Winkler," one person wrote on Twitter.

"I didn't think it was possible to love him more, and yet..." wrote another.

You can watch the whole exchange right here.
