WWE and Peacemaker star John Cena has been spotted entering the venue for his second wedding with wife Shay Shariatzadeh just 21 months after they first tied the knot in Florida.

Although Cena regularly makes news both for his latest projects and for the kind things he's done for other people — especially the record-breaking 650 kids he's helped through the Make-A-Wish Foundation — there's not much we know about him outside of his public ventures.

What we do know, however, is that Cena's incredibly busy life makes him feel unequipped to have children and it also makes it harder for him to be there for the people closest to him.

But in recent days, he's certainly made time for one special lady in his life and did so in a way that seems particularly meaningful for her.

Back in 2019, Cena attended the premiere of his then-newest movie 'Playing With Fire' with a woman most fans hadn't seen before.

As he told Entertainment Tonight at the time, "It's a wonderful day for a movie premiere and I got a beautiful date. What's truly special about this one is that, no matter what projects I'm involved in in the future, this one will always have a special meaning because I got to film a special project and meet someone special."

That special person would turn out to be Shay Shariatzadeh, an engineer who was born in Iran and raised in Canada.

According to People, she was working at the business software firm Sonatype in Vancouver at the same time that Cena was filming Playing With Fire there.

The magazine would also report that their relationship all but began with love at first sight and noted that her intellect and independence both challenged and dazzled Cena.

By October 12 of the following year, the two would marry at the office of their officiant — a lawyer named Dilip Patel — in downtown Tampa, Florida.

Although the couple had long decided that they would marry by then, it appeared to be Cena's idea to tie the knot in such a private ceremony.

As the anonymous source who spoke to People said, "He is a romantic [...] He just wanted to do it out of the limelight."

Just 21 months after that big day, however, it seems the couple have now decided they want to celebrate their love in a slightly bigger way.

According to ET Online, they held a second wedding at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver on July 15.

Not only would that second setting mean a lot to Shariatzadeh considering how much of her life she spent in Vancouver, but it would also be meaningful to Cena as that's where he met her.

Although details about the ceremony are sparse since it occurred in a members-only club, observers noted how dapper Cena looked in his navy blue suit and how elegant Shariatzadeh was in her white dress with floral flourishes.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
