Tom Mann competed on the reality show in 2014 with his band Stereo Kicks, who finished in 5th place. Since then, the singer has worked as a producer and songwriter for other musicians. However, he recently shared on Instagram that his fiancée and mother of his eight-month-old son, Danielle Hampson, passed away on June 18th, the day of their wedding.

"I can’t believe I am writing these words but my darling Dani - my best friend, my everything and more, the love of my life - passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning, 18th June," Tom revealed on Instagram on Tuesday.

"On what was supposed to be the happiest day of our lives ended in irreversible heartbreak. I feel like I have cried an ocean. We never made it to the alter; or got to say our vows, or dance our first dance, but I know you know that you were my entire world and the best thing that has ever happened to me, Danielle. I will wear this ring that I was always supposed to wear as a sign of my unconditional love to you," he shared.

Tom also shared a message about the couple's 8-month-old son Bowie.

"I will not be a mark on the parent that you had already become but I promise I will do my everything to raise Bowie just the way we always wanted. I promise you he will know how amazing his mummy was. I promise to make you so so proud," he wrote.

"The most beautiful person inside and out. The most incredible soul."

"We have lost such a special person and I am sure we are about to see an abundant outpouring of love that reflects that. I will try to find peace in your messages and comments, but right now I am grieving and I will be for a very, very long time. My darling Dani, the brightest light in any room, my world is nothing but darkness without you. I will miss you forever," he finished.

Danielle's family has now spoken out.

Danielle's father Martin has broken his silence in an emotional tribute on his own Instagram.

"These are words that no parent should ever have to write. Last Saturday our beloved daughter Danielle was taken from us, only hours after what should have been one of the highlights of her life, the day she was to marry the love of her life Tom," he wrote.

"She was the beating heart of our family, the loving, successful, intelligent daughter who always put everybody before herself, and as a result was loved by everyone."

"She will always be my little princess, the love of mums life, the sister Andy adored, Helenas BFF, Tom's true love, and of course Bowies amazing mummy."

His statement continued.

"We are all devastated and utterly heartbroken. People say the hurt will ease in time, but as it stands we are broken. Danielle, we will love you forever. Sleep tight sweetheart, sleep tight," he finished.

Fans took to Danielle's final post, a photoset containing multiple pictures of Tom and Bowie, to share their own tributes to her.
