The latest in Netflix's long series of reboots, spinoffs, and sequels is one of the classic sitcom That '70s Show. This new series is set in the '90s instead, but seems to aim to keep the same format otherwise.

And, of course, what sort of spinoff would it be if it didn't pay homage to the original series? Recent news confirms that most of the OG cast will be returning to reprise their roles in featured guest appearances, leaving many excited for the new show's debut.

An upcoming Netflix spin-off of That '70s Show called That '90s Show is slated to come out soon, and whoever was behind the casting knows what fans of the old show want to see.

Almost the entire original main cast will be returning to reprise their roles in guest parts.

They'll appear alongside Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp.

Who, of course, will be returning as Red and Kitty Forman in the new series.

Among the list of actors confirmed to be returning are Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Laura Prepon, Topher Grace, and Wilmer Valderrama

Fans might notice one name missing from the list of returning cast.

Danny Matterson, who played Hyde, will not be returning for this offshoot. This is due to the multiple sexual assault allegations against him that have yet to be tried. He denies all the charges, and is still scheduled to stand trial.

The show, as many surely know, was a major hit when it first aired.

It was originally run on FOX for almost 10 years, from 1998 to 2006. The last few seasons left a bad taste in the mouths of many fans though, as Topher Grace left at the end of the seventh season and Ashton Kutcher was absent for much of the eighth, but otherwise, it's still generally well regarded.

It also made major stars out of much of its cast.

People are wondering if That '90s Show will do the same. Set in 1995, it focuses on main character Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, as she visits her grandparents in Point Place for the summer and makes friends with the kids there.

Thankfully, Netflix brought back more than just the original cast.

The original co-creators of That '70s Show, Bonnie and Terry Turner, are part of the crew as executive producers and writers. Hopefully, this will help the new series align with the old one perfectly.

There's no confirmed release date as of yet, but we do know the first season will be 10 episodes long. All that's left to do is wait!
