The 35-year-old recently opened up with Glamour UK about experiencing "mom guilt" and questioning whether or not she has "done enough" for her children.

The "Jennifer's Body" actress shares three sons with her ex-husband, Brian Austin Green; Noah Shannon, 9, Bodhi Ransom, 8, and Journey River, 5.

The former couple called it quits and filed for divorce in 2021. Fox is now engaged to Machine Gun Kelly, while Green is in a relationship with Dancing With The Stars partner, Sharna Burgess.

Between Fox and Green's co-parenting schedule, and Fox's work schedule, she says she feels "obligated to be with [her kids] all the time," when she has the chance.

She shared that being away from her kids due to work and her co-parenting schedule with Brian Austin Green, often makes her feel emotional and causes her to worry that she isn't doing enough for her children.

"I cry often, every new moon usually," she told Glamour UK in April, before adding that the pressure society puts on mothers can sometimes feel overwhelming and difficult to manage.

"I get in the bath and cry a lot about it, because it is hard and not because of pressures that anybody else or society puts on you, but it is just hard being separated from them in that way," Fox said.

"They are my DNA," she added, before explaining that the distance makes her question whether or not she is doing "enough" for her children.

"It's hard to not feel obligated to be with them all the time or to constantly feel like I'm not doing a good enough job, but I'm also separated from their father," the mom-of-three pointed out.

She shared that she is only allowed to be with her children 50 percent of the time, while Green has them the rest of the time.

"So, I can only have them half of the time," she continued. "That just is what it is.

She admitted that there is a silver lining, however.

Only having her children 50 percent of the time just means that she has more time to herself, without always having to have her mom hat on.

"And in some ways, that allows me to have moments for myself, where I can live my life as me, not just always being someone's mother, and that's nice," Fox explained.

Nonetheless, she says that she still struggles with feeling guilty about it.

"But you always struggle with the guilt, kind of feeling like, 'I haven't done enough,'" she shared.
